Happy Labor day!
It's time for the September CAS challenge at Happy Little Stampers.  Our theme this month is wild and that can be interpreted so many ways. Be sure to head over to the CAS blog and see the rest of the teams take on it.

For my card I used the Dandelion Wishes set by Happy Little Stampers. We all know how wild dandelions are they grow everywhere!

CAS-ual Fridays Heat Embossing

Today is my first challenge post as a Girl Friday!
I have loved playing along and now I get to play as a girl friday so exciting. Our challenge is Heat Embossing and runs for two weeks so I hope you will have tie to play along.

To create my card I started with a white top folding card base, a white panel cut down with a stitched die and one of the newest CAS-ual Fridays sets Peaceful Garden. I stamped the flowers using Catherine Pooler inks in All That Jazz and Flirty Fushia and then stamped the greeting using Versafine Clair Nocturne ink.  It's kinda hard to tell used clear embossing powder on the swirly part of each flower and on the greeting.

Sharing Handmade Kindness

Happy Sunday!
Today I am sharing some handmade kindness with an unknown person who was diagnosed with cancer and only given 3 weeks to live, hope this card brings a smile when she receives it.
Being on vacation I totally forgot to post also for our current challenge at Addicted to CAS on Saturday so my card is for that also.

To make my card I started with a top folding Bermuda Bay card base and a piece of watercolor paper. I stamped the Tree Ring from Concord & 9th in Versamark ink and embossed it with white embossing powder, next I watercolored the inside with Peerless watercolors. I stamped the flower from the April My Monthly Hero Kit in Versafine black onyx ink and used Zig clean color real brush pens to watercolor it. I added white to the stamens and center of the flower with a white gel pen. The greeting is from the MMH April kit as well.

I am also entering this one at Less is More
 for their color challenge of
Turquoise & Lilac

CAS-ual Fridays Meets Freshly Made Sketches

My weekend has been super busy and I am just now getting a chance to sit down and make a card for a friend who is having surgery in the next couple weeks.
To make my card I started with a white top folding A2 card base, some patterned paper a white panel and this cute floral set from CAS-ual Fridays. I cut the piece of patterned the same size as the card base and adhered it to the base, next I took the white panel also cut to the size of the base and used a border die from Pretty Pink Posh to create the stitched border. I stamped the flowers from the Pretty Posies set in archival ink on watercolor paper and watercolored them with Zig markers, I used the Posies Fri-dies to cut them out. to finish the card I added a little splatter and then popped up the posies on top of it. For the greeting I used the MISTI to make it curve along the curved border.
I am entering this one in a couple challenges

CAS(E) This Sketch #178

Quick late night card share for the sketch challenge at CAS(E) this sketch. I have been meaning to play along all week with the this weeks sketch and finally got a few minutes to do so.

It's a simple sketch so I knew it would not take me long to make a card. To make my card I used a A2 sized card base and the Pop of Paradise set from Stampin Up. I stamped the image with Versamark ink and embossed it with white embossing powder, then sponged a little Flirty Flamingo and Peek-A-Boo Peach around it

Happy Monday!
I hope everyone had a wonderful Valentines day yesterday. I spent the day with my love, so no computer time equals no post for day 14 of the 30 day coloring challenge at The Daily Marker, so this is my makeup post.
To make my card I used a Heidi Swapp stencil and some Distress inks.

I used the sketch from CAS(E) This Sketch

Watercolor For Cardmakers ~ Day 1

I am taking the Watercolor for cardmakers - exploring mediums over at Online Card Classes and today's class was all about markers. For my card I used a Sweet n' Sassy image and greeting from the set Lovely Lotus and watercolored it using Tim Holtz distress markers. I stamped it with versamark ink and then embossed it with white embossing powder, this allowed me to stay inside the lines a little better. I die cut my panel and the frame from the Sunshine Layers die from Wplus9.

I am entering this one in a  few challenges

Simon Says Stamp Monday challenge
of Use a Stamp
also Simon Says Wednesday challenge
of Die Crazy

and
The Challenge inspiration challenge
