Now for the deets on my card... This one is for this weeks Sketch Challenge at Splitcoaststampers. Which was a pretty tough sketch for me being a CAS stamper. Here is the sketch

To create my my card I started with a white top folding card base and a white panel. I used the Dotted Fill-In stamp set and the Birdie Talk dies, both by Concord & 9th.  To create the background, I inked up the polka dot background in Sweet Corn ink by Gina K Designs and then also added the dots along the edge using the same set. I used the Gina K Designs Stitched ovals as the focal panel for the birdie. I used the MISTI to stamp the greeting which is from the Feathered stamp set also by Concord & 9th

Day 14 with a Sketch

Welp its already day 14 of my series 14 days of Valentines Inspiration. Those 14 days flew by!

I am ending my series with a card using this week's sketch at Freshly Made Sketches

To create this card I started with a white to folding card base and a white panel cut down a half of an inch shorter. This card was pretty simple with limited supplies. I used an Altenew stencil and some distress inks. For the lines I just masked it off and blended ink with the Life Changing Blender Brushes by Picket Fence Studios. The greeting is by Simon Says Stamp.

Freshly Made Sketches #372

Welcome to day 9 of my series 14 days of Valentines inspiration

Today's card is just in the nick of time to play along with the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches
To create this card I started with a white top folding card base and a white panel cut down a quarter on an inch smaller. I used purple tape to mask off a strip on the panel and then inked up the Hearts Entwined set by My Favorite things with Versamark ink and embossed with white powder.
Next I used the Life Changing Blender Brushes by Picket Fence Studios to blend the Passionate Pink ink by Gina K over the embossed image. I removed the tape and used the MISTI by My Sweet Petunia to stamp the greeting that is from the Rainbows & Unicorns by My Favorite Things and to finish the card added the arrow diecut also by My Favorite Things.

Let's Pawty

Todays card is for this weeks sketch challenge at Splitcoaststampers. I turned the sketch and then used a circle instead of a square, but I did tilt the circle as the square is tilted.
The stamp I used is Let's Party by Technique Junkies Stamps

Day 21 with Freshly Made Sketches

Hello and welcome to day 21 of my series 25 days of Christmas Inspiration. We are getting near the end and we are now in single digits until Christmas day! I don't know about you but I haven't even mailed out my cards yet :0

Today's card uses a super cute stamp set by Picket Fence Studios and this weeks sketch at Freshly Made sketches.

To create this card I started with a white top folding card base and a white panel cut down a half of an inch smaller. I used purple tape by Thermoweb to mask off a rectangular area and then blended Peacock Feathers distress ink using LifeChanging Blender Brushes. After I finished blending the ink, I used a snowflake stencil by Echo Park and some Nuvo glitter paste to create the snowy background. I stamped the cute little snowman from the Have a Wonderful Wintery Day by Picket Fence Studios in the corner with Gina K Amalgam ink (I used a mask on him while I created the background) and colored him using Copic markers. Using the Mini MISTI, I added a greeting form the A Bear Kind of Winter set also by Picket Fence Studios underneath to finish the card.

Sketch #727

It's time for a new sketch challenge at Splitcoaststampers.  I love plying along with the challenges over on Splitcoast, there are no prizes but its fun to play along and interact with all the card makers there.
Here is this week's sketch, hope you will come lay along with us. There is no time frame so it's never too late.

To create my card I started with a White top folding card base, a white panel cut down with a stitched die, a strip of design paper, a black oval and stitched oval using the oval dies by Gina K. The stamp I uses is by Picket Fence Studios, Lily Bouquet and it's a beautiful stamp and so fun to color.

Unfortunately this card was made because someone lost a loved one. Sympathy cards are becoming more frequent for me to have to create.

CAS18 A Sketch

It's time for our October encouragement challenge at Calling All Sistahs
How our challenge works is that we give you an inspiration photo and you are to make a project using it as your inspiration It doesn't have to be a card for someone who has cancer, it can be for someone who has lost a loved one or just needs a pick me up. All we ask is that you actually mail it. Ya'll I have had to mail so many sympathy cards lately it just breaks my heart, yesterday I mailed out 10 sympathy cards and two card to cancer patients.  I hope they do bring a little happiness in their sorrow. I have a facebook group (Because Kindness) if you would like to join to help share some kindness with those who need it.
This month we actually have a sketch challenge

To create my card I started with a top folding white card base, I added some design paper as the background and also to make one of the tags using the Tag Buddies Fri- Die. I used the Dream Then Do stamp set for the greeting on the smaller ta. To finish the card I added some twine.

PFS New Release ad a Sketch

I am up on the Picket Fence Studios blog today featuring this card using one of the October release stamps, Lily Bouquet. I was going to make it a Christmas card because with it colored red it reminds me of an amaryllis which I only see around Christmas time, but then I realized I needed a get well card.

I played along with the sketch challenge at Splitcoaststampers. I stamped the full image o a top folding white card base and then stamped another on a Neenah solar white piece of cardstock, colored it using Copic markers and then cut it down to fit the sketch.
