Pinsights Challenge

 I am excited to be guesting for the Pinsights challenge in the Classroom at Ellen Hudson
This is the February moodboard in which I drew my inspiration. 

 The Essentials by Ellen Pin-Sights challenge is a monthly inspirational challenge based on a Color Trend Inspirational photo that is located on the CLASSroom blog. To make my card I started with a top folding white card base, some Zig Cleancolor markers and dies by My Favorite Things. It was super simple to make I just scribbled some color in ROYGBIV order and then spritzed with water, after it dried I used the celebrate die by My Favorite Things to cut it out and attach it to the base.

Smooshing

Late card share again for the 30 day coloring challenge at The Daily Marker. This card uses a floral stamp from Hero Arts that was given to me at Creativation and a large Thanks stamp by Honey Bee Stamps. 

To make the card I used a white top folding card base and a watercolor paper panel cut down with a stitched die. 

I stamped the floral image in Versamark ink and heat embossed it in white. This stamp is on a wood block so I used the Creative Corners from My Sweet Petunia to help me get a good impression, because of the texture of watercolor paper.  I used Zig Cleancolor Realbrush pens to watercolor it. Next I attempted the "smoosh" technique with distress inks. As you can see my feeble attempt,  smooshing did not come easy for me. I need lots of practice. Using the Original MISTI I added the large thanks using raven ink by Brutus Monroe, I literally had to overstamp this sentiment 10 times to get a good impression. I ended up embossing it with black embossing powder to give it a shine.
