Ink On 3 New Release Insta Hop

Happy Friday! 

Today the Ink on 3 team is hosting an Instagram hop showcasing our newest sets (3 of them) and three more colors Bee Sting Yellow, Peacock Blue and Marilyn Red were released in ink cubes.  Hop over to instagram for a chance to win some prizes 

To create my card I started with a white top folding card base and a panel of white distress heavystock. I Stamped the wreath from the Holiday Wreath stamp set using BlackOut ink and then watercolored the image using Marilyn Red and Goddess Green.

I am up on the My Sweet Petunia blog today sharing this card for Team Tuesday  with this card using a gorgeous stamp by Concord & 9th.

To create my card, I started with a top folding white card base and a watercolor panel. I stamped the image using fadeout ink and then watercolored it using the new liquid watercolors by Concord & 9th. 

I love being able to get a great impression on watercolor paper by using the MISTI. It is a necessity when using watercolor paper because of the texture.

After I got the image all colored I used the coordinating die to cut out the middle and then placed the panel back in the MISTI to stamp the sentiment.

Ink On 3 New Release - Beautiful Flowers

Today the Ink on 3 design team are showcasing the Beautiful Flowers release with  instagram hop. We are releasing three new floral sets just in time for spring. 

To create my card, which is a 5x7 because I could not bring myself to cut down the panel any smaller.  I started with a black card base and a watercolor panel. I stamped the Triple Rose with Fadeout ink and then used the Atelier Ink refills to watercolor the image. The colors I used are Bee Sting Yellow, Sweet Petunia Pink and Goddess Green.

To create this card I started with a white top folding card base and a watercolor paper panel cut down a quarter of an inch smaller. I used Daniel smith Watercolors to color it. The hugs die is by Birch Press

You Are Cherished

Up on the Sweet 'n Sassy blog today!

I'm a  little late with my post I was thinking I was to post tomorrow, anywho here's today's card featuring the Scribble Flowers and the All About You sets.

To make my card, I started with a top folding white note card and a piece ow watercolor paper cut down with a stitched die. I randomly stamped the floral images  from the Scribble Flowers set all over the watercolor paper using Versafine Black Onyx ink, next I just scribbled color over the images using Zig clean color real brush pens and then spritzed with water. After the panel dried I added randomly added some black dots with a fine tipped sharpie. 

For the greeting I stamped the word You from the All About You set using Versamark ink and heat set it with clear embossing powder so it would stand out against the background. I added the panel to a black mat and then to finish the card I stamped the rest of the greeting in Versamark ink on a black piece of card stock and heat set it with white embossing powder then used foam tape to give it dimension.

Team Tuesday

Happy Tuesday! or Wednesday because this post didn't post on my blog for some reason and I was at a retreat having a blast, but it did post on the My Sweet Petunia Blog when it was supposed to, so here's my original post.
I am up on the My Sweet Petunia blog today sharing this card for my Team Tuesday post.  Before the MISTI came into my stamping world I would not buy layering stamps, I had tried them and no matter how I tried I always messed up when stamping them. The MISTI has solved that problem, there are so many gorgeous layering stamps like the Garden Hydrangea that I would have missed out on if I didn't have the MISTI.

Tic Tac Toe with The Ton

Happy Wednesday! 

My card today is for the Tic Tac Toe challenge at The Ton. 

You are to use three in a row any direction, I used straight down the right hand side, Gold (ribbon) Stripes and Watercolor.

To make my card I used a piece of cold press watercolor paper, MISTI, striped patterned paper and Daniel Smith watercolor paints

Using the MISTI I stamped the floral image with Versafine Black Onyx ink site a few times because of the texture of watercolor paper I never get a crisp image the first time, so thankful I have a MISTI to help me out.

I used Daniel Smith watercolor paint to color the image, I am so in love with these paints they are fabulous! Next I added some striped patterned paper t a white top folding card base and fussy cut the image out and popped it up midway on the card.

Watercolored Florals

I  have been practicing my watercoloring on these cute Art Play Mini coloring books by Adorn It.  If you have never heard of Adorn It you should head over there now and check it out! They have everything from shoes, to clothes to paper crafts. It is Amazing!

I am also a part of a Daniel Smith watercolor split and I am loving these paints and with the split I can semi afford them lol.

For my card I colored a page from the Daisy Delight mini coloring book and attached it to a top folding card base.
