Bubbling Hearts

Welcome to day 9 of my Valentines series.
Today's card is brought to you by Gina K designs and Gel Press.

To make this card I started with a white top folding card base and a Gel Press Print.
This card has no stamping but instead I used die cuts and one of my prints.
You may be wondering why I still have my Mistis listed on my affiliate links when I have no stamping. I use my Misti with every single card I make because it to help me line things up. In this case I placed a sticky mat in my Misti and used the Mis-T Ruler to line up the word love.

Retro

I am up on the Sweet 'n Sassy blog today sharing this card which also doubles for the current challenge at Beyond the Blue.

To make this card I started with a white top folding card base and a white panel. The white panel is what I created with a retro tool. Do you remember the paper crimper? That is what I used to create that panel.
I stamped a branch from the Botanical Branches set, colored it, then cut it out with the coordinating die and added it to the crimped panel.

Support for Ukraine

Welcome to our "Support Ukraine Blog Hop". I am hopping along with all some amazing companies that are part of The Stamping Village and additional contributing companies and artists that are sharing encouragement for Ukraine. A portion of all proceeds from their sales from now through Sunday April 3rd, 2022 will benefit the Ukraine relief efforts. We are also sending lots sending hugs and prayers to all the families that have been touched by this war.

To create my card I started with a top folding white card base, a black panel and a white panel for the focal image. I used the Sunflower from the Find Your Purpose set and colored it using alcohol markers. The sunflower is the flower of Ukraine and is the symbol of hope.
Next I used the Swirl Stencil and some Prize Ribbon ink to create the background. To finish the card I embossed the sentiment on a strip of black in white powder.

I used blue and yellow; the colors of the Ukraine flag. My heart still goes out to all those who have been touched by this war, Ukrainians and Russians. I continue to pray for peace.

Here's a complete list of the participating companies

Look for Beauty

I am up on the Sweet 'n Sassy design blog today sharing a card using the Stamp of the Month, Sparkle & Shine along with a few others, A Snowy Hello with Coordinating Dies, A Thrill of Hope and Folk Art Snowflakes.
The Snowy Hello stamp set is an older set that we brought back and added Coordinating Dies and I love that!

To create this card I started with a top folding card base and then I gave something a try that resulted in the dreamy background.
I stamped snowflakes from different sets (listed below) with embossing ink and embossed them in white on a panel of distress heavystock. Next I sprayed that panel with distress mica stain in Winterberry, this gave it such a beautiful shimmery shine. Then I thought I wonder what would happen if I smooshed that same panel in some distress Picked Raspberry distress ink, so I smeared some PR distress ink on a craft mat, spritzed it with water and picked it up with the panel. I love how it turned out! I wish you could see it in real life it is so dreamy!
After I finished the background I sat it aside to color the image from A Snowy Hello and cut it out with the coordinating die. I wanted the snowman to look as she was n a hill side so I tore the snowflake panel. Be sure to check back in a couple days to see how I used the other piece of the background.

25 Days of Christmas Inspiration - Day 2

It's Day 2 of my holiday series 25 days of Christmas Inspiration and today's card is brought to you by Concord & 9th.
This card was inspired by a card that Jessica Frost Ballas made for the Holly Jolly Workshop.

To create this card I started with a white top folding card base, white cardstock, seaglass cardstock and silver foil.
The products I used are from the Holly Jolly Workshop. I cut out the wreath in Seaglass cardstock and attached it to the base. I used white cardstock to cut out the bacer for the "merry" and the poinsettia. I ink blended Salvaged Patina and Prize Ribbon to make the poinsettia blue and I used Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn to color the leaves. I cut the work merry out of silver foil and attached it to the white backer. I used a black strip of cardstock for the sentiment embossed in white. To finish the card I placed all the elements on the card front and then added some sequins for sparkle.

All products are linked below except for the Holly Jolly Workshop products because they were exclusive to the event.
