Watercolor For Cardmakers ~ Day 1
I am taking the Watercolor for cardmakers - exploring mediums over at Online Card Classes and today's class was all about markers. For my card I used a Sweet n' Sassy image and greeting from the set Lovely Lotus and watercolored it using Tim Holtz distress markers. I stamped it with versamark ink and then embossed it with white embossing powder, this allowed me to stay inside the lines a little better. I die cut my panel and the frame from the Sunshine Layers die from Wplus9.
I am entering this one in a few challenges

Very pretty card! Great to see what you have created for OCC :o)
ReplyDeleteThis card is breathtaking! It reminded me of being at a museum and looking at one of those dreamy watercolors paintings by a great artist of long ago! I thought you did an amazing job of blending those colors and the palette is so soft and refreshing. I also like how you framed it in with the scalloped border. The bits of bling reminded me of water drops or bubbles and the whole thing makes me feel calm and serene and happy just looking at it! Thanks for sharing your skills with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
