It's time for a new challenge at Addicted to CAS, Vicki is our hostess and she chose the code word.. Sympathy.

To create my card I started with a top folding white card base and a white panel. I used the Rosy Life hot foil plate along with some opal foil. The greeting is a word die by The Makers Movement.

Poppy Prayers

Today I am up on the Picket Fence Studios blog with this card featuring the Poppy Blossom stamp set.
It's our birthday month and we have been having guest designers everyday and giveaways. Nicole and Matt are so generous they have allowed each of the DT to give away a $100 gift Certificate and I am running mine on Instagram (@cealp) so be sure to hop over and find out how to enter for a chance to win.
I also have a discount code for you follow this link --> PFS20 (case sensitive)

To make this card I started with a top folding white card base and a white panel cut down a quarter of an inch smaller.  I stamped the poppy image in our Black Hybrid ink and colored it using Copic markers, after I finished coloring it I used the new Floral Damask stencil, some Gina K  (Sea Glass) ink and the Life Changing Blender Brushes to create the background.
To finish the card I placed the focal panel back in the Misti and over stamped it to make it darker and added the greeting which is from the Peach and Piper set.

You have until Sunday May 19th 11:59 EST to leave comments here and on instagram, winner will be notified on my blog and Instagram  afterwards. Be sure to check back tomorrow for another post and more chances to win.

Wild Roses

Happy Friday!
My card today isn't for a happy occasion because it's for a friend who lost a loved one. I do hope it will bring a little joy.
To create this card I started with a white top folding card base and a white panel. I stamped the Wild Roses on the white panel with Black Amalgam ink and colored them using Copic markers. I partially ran the panel through an embossing folder and then added a thin strip of washi to separate.
To finish the card I added the greeting at the bottom.

Peaceful Roses

For todays card I am playing along with the 30 day coloring challenge at The Daily Marker.  I am using the set Peaceful Roses by Gina K Designs. This stamps is gorgeous and definitely gives off a peaceful vibe.
This card is going to a grieving family of an officer who was killed in the line of duty. It takes a very brave person to work in law enforcement these days, I pray daily for all of our law enforcement officers as well as our military, I hope you do also because they need it.

Sketch #727

It's time for a new sketch challenge at Splitcoaststampers.  I love plying along with the challenges over on Splitcoast, there are no prizes but its fun to play along and interact with all the card makers there.
Here is this week's sketch, hope you will come lay along with us. There is no time frame so it's never too late.

To create my card I started with a White top folding card base, a white panel cut down with a stitched die, a strip of design paper, a black oval and stitched oval using the oval dies by Gina K. The stamp I uses is by Picket Fence Studios, Lily Bouquet and it's a beautiful stamp and so fun to color.

Unfortunately this card was made because someone lost a loved one. Sympathy cards are becoming more frequent for me to have to create.

Sketch Time

It's time for a new challenge at CAS-ual Fridays and we have a fun sketch for you.

What are your playing for? 10 winning entries will be highlighted on this blog each Thursday before a new challenge is set to go live the next day.  In addition, Michele has generously offered up a $25 gift certificate to the overall winner at CAS-ual Fridays Stamps. And if that weren't enough, if the chosen winner has used CAS-ual Fridays stamps and/or dies as the main focus in the card, that gift certificate will increase to $50.

Once again I a needed more sympathy cards and the Peace & Comfort set is perfect for those. To create my card I started with a white top folding card base, added some washi tape on the corners and then  stamped the greeting from the Peace & Comfort set then added some flowers from the Peaceful Garden set

Now for the details on my card.
I started with a top folding white card base and a white panel that I used for the background with the new Stitched Rays by Reverse Confetti. I stamped the images from the new set Tall Blooms and colored them with Chameleon pens, to get the outside images to both turn inward I used a Mirror Image stamp along with the Original Misti.

The middle image I cut out with the coordinating Tall Blooms Confetti Cuts and then popped it up with foam tape. The stitched circle is the Fa La La Circle also by Reverse Confetti. To finish the card I added the sympathy greeting also from the Tall Blooms set but I masked off the bottom portion and just used the "With Sympathy" and embossed it in white.

Melissa is next on the hop and I am sure she has a gorgeous project to share.
here is a list of participants, don't forget to leave comments.
