Picket Fence Meets Concord & 9th

Happy Saturday!
We are only 3 days out from Christmas, do you have all your shopping done? I finally finished up making my holiday cards and they are all in the mail even though some of them may arrive after Christmas but that's okay better late than never right?
This is one of the cards I made for my family. I love this set by Picket Fence Stamps and the matching die! To create this card I started with a white top folding card base and a white panel cut down with a stitched die.
I stamped the string of lights using Versamark ink and then embossed it with Perrisa powder by Wow. I love the look you get from this powder it has a touch of Copper, Gold and Silver. Below is a close up picture so you can see how gorgeous it is

The greeting I used is by Concord & 9th.

It's almost Christmastime in the valley....4 more days and I am busy working on some gift tags. We do Christmas with my Sister and her family so there are lots of gifts to be tagged.
To make these tags I used an older mitten die by Impression Obsession that I have had for years but it's a favorite because my tree is snowman/snow themed. I also used this amazing background stamp by Ink Blot shop that is so realistic of a knitted cable sweater.
This year I bought the snowflake die by Concord & 9th to help out with gifts under the snow themed tree.

Day 25 Joy to the World

Well today is the last day of my holiday series 25 Days of Christmas Inspiration and I wanted to end it with joy, so I decided to use an older set but still one of my favorites by Concord & 9th.
I will still be sharing some Christmas cards up until Christmas and even after as I am on a Christmas card making challenge blog DT.

To create this card I started with a top folding Night of Navy card base and a white panel cut down a quarter of an inch smaller. To create the snowy background on the panel I used the Snowflakes Turnabout. I love their turnabout stamps They were created for the MISTI and they make creating a background super easy. I stamped on all four turns with one being embossed in white powder.
For the focal point I used another set also by Concord & 9th, Joy it's an older set  but still one of my favorites and I use it regularly in my Christmas card making.
I stamped the greeting in versamark ink on a strip of Night of Navy and embossed it in white powder and then used the "joy" diet for the focal point.

I hope you have enjoyed my holiday series and continue to follow me here and on Instagram(@cealp) for more inspiration. I am also planning a 14 days of Valentines Inspiration in January so stay tuned.

Day 23 with My Sweet Petunia and Altenew

Welcome to Day 23 of my series 25 Days of Christmas Inspiration. Christmas is only one week away can you believe that? This time next week will be Christmas morning. Where did December go?

My card today uses an Altenew set that I would have never bought if I didn't have a MISTI. Not only does having a Misti make it easy to stamp with layering stamps but when you need to make multiples too. I am still working on my Christmas cards, I know some of my friends are going to get them after Christmas but that's okay.

I am also up on the My Sweet Petunia blog today with this card so you can head over for all the details

Day 21 with Freshly Made Sketches

Hello and welcome to day 21 of my series 25 days of Christmas Inspiration. We are getting near the end and we are now in single digits until Christmas day! I don't know about you but I haven't even mailed out my cards yet :0

Today's card uses a super cute stamp set by Picket Fence Studios and this weeks sketch at Freshly Made sketches.

To create this card I started with a white top folding card base and a white panel cut down a half of an inch smaller. I used purple tape by Thermoweb to mask off a rectangular area and then blended Peacock Feathers distress ink using LifeChanging Blender Brushes. After I finished blending the ink, I used a snowflake stencil by Echo Park and some Nuvo glitter paste to create the snowy background. I stamped the cute little snowman from the Have a Wonderful Wintery Day by Picket Fence Studios in the corner with Gina K Amalgam ink (I used a mask on him while I created the background) and colored him using Copic markers. Using the Mini MISTI, I added a greeting form the A Bear Kind of Winter set also by Picket Fence Studios underneath to finish the card.

Day 20 with Technique Junkies Stamps

Happy Saturday and welcome to day 20 of my series 25 Days of Christmas Inspiration. Can y'all believe that Christmas is only 10 days away!

I am up on the Technique Junkies blog today with this card featuring the Snowflakes set of 9.
Ya'll, I love all things snow and this set of snowflakes are so gorgeous! I own lots of snowflake sets and I think these are the prettiest! They are a must have
and you can save 10% off your order by using my code TJ10Ceal

To create my card I started with a white top folding card base, a white panel cut down a quarter of an inch smaller and of course these gorgeous Snowflakes set of 9. I arranged them on the panel, picked them up on the lid of the MISTI and then inked them up with Versamark ink to emboss them with white embossing powder. After they cooled down I created the background using distress inks in Peacock Feathers and Blueprint Sketch blending them with Life Changing Brushes by Picket Fence Studios. The greeting is a single stamp, Snowflakes Fall I also embossed it with white embossing powder so it would stand out against the background.
To finish the card I added a couple snowflake sequins and rhinestones.

Day 19 with Simon Says Stamp

Welcome to Day 19 of my series 25 Days of Christmas Inspiration. We have had a ton of snow here so I thought I would bring that into a card but also give it some color.

Today's card is featuring this circle die by Simon Says Stamp. To create this card, I started with a white top folding card base and a white panel cut down a quarter of an inch smaller.
I cut a out a circle a tad larger than the die cut and blended together some distress oxide inks over it and then added the recut to the front of it. For the background I used a stencil by Echo park and some glitter paste by Nuvo

Joy

Hello and welcome to day 17 of my series 25 Days of Christmas Inspiration. I am finally close to getting back on track from this snowstorm we had with all the power loss and stuff. Hopefully soon you will see my series post first thing in the morning instead of near midnight.

Today's card uses another amazing set Wood Backgrounds by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps. I just love this tree ring but this set also has another woodgrain background as well.
It is also our Stamp of the Month so with a $75 purchase the month of December you will receive this set free and it is such a versatile set.

This card was super simple to make, I stamped the tree ring image on a piece of white yardstick using Gina K ink and the fussy cut it out.  I used another set In Stitches Alpha also by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps for the word Joy. For the background I used some Nuvo glitter paste and a holly stencil by Penny Black

(This set sold out super fast but there are more on the way and you can pre order)
