Day 14 with a Sketch

Welp its already day 14 of my series 14 days of Valentines Inspiration. Those 14 days flew by!

I am ending my series with a card using this week's sketch at Freshly Made Sketches

To create this card I started with a white to folding card base and a white panel cut down a half of an inch shorter. This card was pretty simple with limited supplies. I used an Altenew stencil and some distress inks. For the lines I just masked it off and blended ink with the Life Changing Blender Brushes by Picket Fence Studios. The greeting is by Simon Says Stamp.

Forever and Always

Hello and welcome to day 13 of my series 14 days of Valentines Inspiration.
Even though tomorrow is officially the last day of my series, since valentines day is still over a week away I am sure I will be posting more cards for it.

Today's card uses the same set as yesterdays, Forever & Always. To create today's card I started with a top folding white card base and a white panel cut dow a quarter of an inch smaller. I stamped the floral heart in the center of the panel with Gina K ink and the greeting about and below it with stamping the & in the heart itself. To create the background on my card base I simply stamped a portion of the heart all around the edge.

Release Day at Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps

Welcome to day 12 of my series 14 days of Valentines Inspiration.

Today is also release day at Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps so I used one of our new releases Forever & Always on my card, be sure to check back tomorrow for another card uses our new release.

To create this card I started with a top folding white card base, some patterned paper, the Forever & Always set and a white panel cut down with a postage stamp die. Using the Original MISTI to line them up I stamped the hearts in different red and pink inks by Gina K and then stamped the greeting in VersaFine Clair Nocturne ink.

All About You

Hello and welcome to day 11 of my series 14 days of Valentines Inspiration.

Today's card uses this week's sketch at Splitcoaststampers. I love sketches and this sketch was sorta challenging.

I used one of new releases at Picket Fence Studios, Today is all about You. I flipped the sketch from a horizontal to a vertical one and then stamped the super adorable Llama or Alpaca with the Black Hybrid Ink, colored it using Copic markers and the die cut it with the coordinating die. She is normally holding a cell phone but since I was making it a valentines day card I fussy cut out the cell phone and added the heart so she could give it to her valentine.

Puffy Heart Love

Welcome to day 10 of my series 14 days of Valentines inspiration.

It's also time for a new challenge at Addicted to Stamps & More so my card doubles for our challenge as well.

To create my this card I started with a white to folding card base and a gray panel cut down A2 size. The background was created using a Gel Press while at Creativation. I love to Gel Press it's so fun and so forgiving, if you don't like your background you just add setting on top.
The stamp set I used is Puffy Heart Love by CAS-ual Fridays Stamps, I stamped it with Versamark ink and embossed it in white and then used a Copic Multiliner to trace around it to make it stand out more against the background.

Freshly Made Sketches #372

Welcome to day 9 of my series 14 days of Valentines inspiration

Today's card is just in the nick of time to play along with the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches
To create this card I started with a white top folding card base and a white panel cut down a quarter on an inch smaller. I used purple tape to mask off a strip on the panel and then inked up the Hearts Entwined set by My Favorite things with Versamark ink and embossed with white powder.
Next I used the Life Changing Blender Brushes by Picket Fence Studios to blend the Passionate Pink ink by Gina K over the embossed image. I removed the tape and used the MISTI by My Sweet Petunia to stamp the greeting that is from the Rainbows & Unicorns by My Favorite Things and to finish the card added the arrow diecut also by My Favorite Things.

The Rabbit Hole Designs

Welcome to Day 8 of my series 14 days of Valentines inspiration.

Today's card uses a set from a brand new company Rabbit Hole Designs and when I saw this cute set "Love You More" I just had to own it.
Isn't this couple just the sweetest?
To create my card I started with a top folding card base and a white panel cut the same size as the base. I used a stitched heart die cut to cut a heart out of the center and then a stencil to create the background around the negative space. I stamped the couple image on the heart that I cut out and colored it using Copic markers and then placed it back in the negative space and stamped the greeting along the side.

Snail Mail

Welcome to Day 6 of my series 14 days of Valentines inspiration.

Today's card uses a stamp by a company new to me. I met Emily (pops of paper) and she gifted me this cute set that hasn't been released yet, so you're getting a sneak peek. Because of the hearts I thought that I would make a card and add it to my series.
The other supplies I used are an embossing folder by Stampin Up and a postage die by Simon Says Stamp.

Love and a Cookie

Welcome to day 4 of my series 14 days of Valentines inspiration. Today's card features a cute set Cookie or Donut by Picket Fence Studios.

I have been at Creativation and yesterday was the last day of the show so I am headed to a friends to finish up the week and then head home. I will try to keep up but my posts may run a little late until I get back home and settled.

To create my card I started with a top folding card base and a panel cut down a quarter of an inch smaller. I stamped the cookies with Ink on 3's fade out ink for no line coloring and then colored it using Copic markers.
