It's a Wrap!

Well 2017 is coming to and end, I am sharing one last card for my guest designing gig with a.muse studio, I have really enjoyed guest designing with them.
I chose Flaky Friends to share for several reasons, one being I love all things snowmen, 2nd I will be hanging out with my friends tonight to celebrate the new year and thirdly winter is here, not that I am partying over winter being here but it's definitely roaring as all week it is single digit temps with a below zero wind chill. I say that calls for staying home in front of the fireplace with a cup of hot chocolate.
This card was simple to make I simple masked off the middle snowman and stamped the others and colored them with Copic markers.

Tomorrow I will have several posts including some news and a giveaway so be sure to stop back by, I will leave you with some of my favorite cards from 2017

Technique Junkies

I am up on the Technique Junkies blog today sharing this card that I made for the owner Pat, so I couldn't share until now. However it did not get mailed in time for Christmas, sorry Pat.
I am still working on holiday cards to send out, I think I am down to 15 so I should have them done this weekend and then I can get started on next years because we only have 360 days until Christmas and the way it went this year I just may need that many days :)

To make this card I started with a white top folding card base and a white panel cut down with a stitched die. I used the Christmas Trees set of 6 and did some 2nd generation stamping for the trees at the bottom of the panel. To create the cloudy sky I just sponged a little Broken China Distress ink across the top of the panel. Next I stamped the Santa in Moonlight in Black and colored in the moon with Copic markers. To finish the card I added the greeting Merry Christmas 2 and attached the panel to the card base.

Happiest of Holidays

Still working on my holiday cards, and hoping to finish them this weekend.
This one uses that cute set by Neat & Tangled Beary Merry. I stamped him on some Copic paper and colored him up with Copic markers. I used the coordinating die to cut him and the present out. I love how this die allows him to hold things, it makes this set very versatile as he could hold a heart for Valentines day (you may see him doing just that).
After I got hi colored and cut out I attached some patterned papers by Echo Park cut down with a border die by My Favorite Things and popped up the bear in the center and then added a greeting in the corner.

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas and welcome to day 25 of my 25 days of Christmas Inspiration series. I hope you have enjoyed this series as it is my first annual. Christmas cards are one of my favorite cards to make and send out. However all of my cards didn't make it in time this year, but they will come.

The last card of my series uses one of my favorite sets by Neat & Tanged and the very reason we celebrate Christmas. Without a baby there would be no cross, without a cross there would be no life. Thank you Jesus and Happy Birthday!

May your Christmas be filled with love, laughter, presents but most of all HIS Presence, oh come ket us adore Him!

Christmas Carols

Merry Christmas Eve and welcome to day 24 of my 25 days of Christmas Inspiration series. I can't believe that it is already Christmas eve, I hope you are ready and have your shopping done because Santa is on his way.

Today's card features a new Christmas set by Stampin Up, Christmas Carols.
To make this card, I started with a top folding white card base and a white panel cut down with a stitched die. I used Night of Navy and Tempting Turquoise to create my background leaving some white at the bottom for the snow covered ground. After I created the background and let them dry, using the Mini MISTI, I stamped the greeting in Versamark ink and embossed it in white (I always use my MISTI when I emboss to make sure I get a good impression)  Next I splattered some water across the front and dabbed it with a paper towel to get the snowfall look. I used the coordinating dies to cut out the trees in white glimmer paper. To finish the card I stamped the deer in Soft Suede and cut him out with the coordinating die and tucked him behind a snow covered tree.

This is my main Christmas card this year but I didn't get a chance to get a lot of them done, next year I have to either start earlier or make it a little more simpler. Some of you will be receiving this one and others a water/new years card.

I {heart} Plaid

Happy Friday and welcome to day 22 of my 25 days of Christmas Inspiration series.

Today's card is another one of the cards I am mailing out. I am so behind this year so some of you will get your card after Christmas so don't hate on me lol
I am also entering this one in the Anything Goes challenge at

To make this card it was super simple, I started with a white top folding card base, I cut the ornaments out of Pool Party cardstock using the Ornamental dies. Next I stamped the plaid on each one by using the Plaid Background stamp by Concord & 9th.  To finish the card I used the Merry die also by Concord & 9th cut out in silver foil and the Mini Misti to help line up the "Christmas"

Blue Poinsettias

Hello and welcome to day 21 of my 25 days of Christmas Inspiration. Can you believe it's only 4 days until Christmas?? that's insane where ha this year gone??

To make todays card I started with a Night of Navy top folding card base and a white panel cut down with a stitched die by My Favorite Things. This is a layering stamp so of course I used my Mini MISTI. I randomly stamped the poinsettia in Catherine Pooler inks It's a Boy, Daydream and Juniper Mist, and the leaves in Green Team and Eucalyptus.  After I achieved the background I wanted I used the "Merry" die by Concord & 9th. I cut the word merry five times  in Night of Navy and then once in the panel, this allowed me to get a more finished look. This technique is called the Eclipse. To finish the card I stamped the greeting on a white strip and bumped it up on the panel.

I drew inspiration from the colors on The Fusion challenge
