Technique Junkies September Release

Hello and welcome to the Technique Junkies Stamps September release hop! We have 16 new stamps/sets to share with you. You should have arrived here via Beth's blog and if not I have a complete list at the bottom of this post. 

For my samples I used the Beautiful Mandala and the Modern Circles. 

The first card I embossed the Mandala with gold embossing powder on a piece of Bristol cardstock and then used the Smakin Acetate technique to add color.  

I found this color combo that I love it uses Stardust, Aqua Sky and Sorbet inks by Concord & 9th.

The second card I used the Modern circles and stamped it in the same color combo of Stardust, Aqua Sky and Sorbet. I used a Happy Birthday diecut for the focal point.

Sunflower Just for You

I am up on the Technique Junkies Design Blog today with this card using the Burst background stamp from the July release along with the Sunflower Duo and the Just for you sentiment.

To create this card I started with a white top folding card base, a black panel and a white panel. I stamped the Burst background and then embossed it in gold. Next using a blender brush, I blended yellow ink over the entire panel. I stamped the Sunflower Duo and colored it with Copic markers and fussy cut out the large flower to use as my focal point. To finish the card I stamped the Just for You greeting on black card stock and fussy cut it out as well. 

Graduation

It's time for a new challenge at Addicted to CAS. Angie is our hostess and she chose the code word

To create this card I started with a white top folding card base, a white panel cut down a half of an inch smaller and a panel of Black Onyx card stock for the mat.

I used a graduation cap embossing folder from my stash (I have no idea what company it is from) to emboss the panel. Next I stamped the greeting and cut it out with a stitched die and the cap I fussy cut. To make the tassel gold I simply brushed it over the Gina K embossing ink and then heat embossed it using gold powder.

Technique Junkies January Release Celebration

Happy New Year! 

It's release day at Technique Junkie Stamps and we are releasing 15 new amazing stamps. This one Better With Coffee is one of my favorites. Even though I don't drink coffee, I do participate in the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog hops and it's a great addition to my coffee collection.

I had so much fun creating this card, I started with a white side folding card base and a white panel cut down a quarter of an inch smaller. Using the Original MISTI I stamped the image and then colored it using Copic markers. After I got it colored I added the sentiment in the coffee. There are 5 different greeting that come in this set, it's so versatile. To finish the card I had a little fun by adding shimmer to her nails and ring with Nuvo Midas Touch and Nuvo Glitter Gloss and then added some glossy accents on top of that.
