Picket Fence Studios November Release!

YAY! It's release day at Picket Fence Studios and it's another great release.  Today I am sharing the cards that I made using the Slim Line Diecutting System along with the new release stamps, stencils and dies.

My first card is my favorite because I love snowflakes and we have released these gorgeous Winter Snowflake dies.
To create this card I started with some Snow White Pearl cardstock cut with the birch tree dies twice and the stitched square from the SLDCS.
Next I used the smaller of the two rectangle dies and a piece of bristol and then ink blended a background using distress inks. To finish the card I added a greeting from the Most Wonderful Time of the Year set along with some snowflakes cut out of Holographic cardstock. This is one shiny card!

My Next card uses the Bugville set, which is super adorable! Other than the snowflakes, it's one of my favorites from this release.
To create this card I used the one of the larger rectangular die to cut a mat in blue and two of the smaller ones as the focal panel. I stamped the Bugville image
on one and colored it using Copic markers. The second one I cut out the circle with the fence and laced it over the colored panel so you only see whats colored through the window. To finish the card I added some colored bugs and a greeting embossed in white on a black strip.

My last card for today uses our newest Beautiful Girl, Alice. I used the largest rectangle for my panel and the stitched square for the window from the SLDCS. The stencil I used is the Daisy Burst Slimline from this release and ink blended it using the Life Changing Blender Brushes of course. To finish the card I added the sentiment from the Songbirds set.

Thanks for stopping by and thanks you for using my links to order, it's no cost to you but gives me a little to buy supplies.

Oh and one more thing, I have a giveaway on my instagram page @cealp, of some Picket Fence Studios product so head over and tag someone to win.

Sweet 'n Sassy March After Party Release Hop

Hello, and welcome to the Sweet 'n Sassy after party blog hop for the March Release. We have some gorgeous sets in this release and the design team is hopping to show them off. Be prepared for some Gorgeous eye candy.

I used the Genuine Love set for the two cards I am showing you today.
To create the first card I stated with a white top folding card base and a white panel that I cut down with a scalloped stitched die.  I stamped the heart in pink and then made a mask of it(stamped it again on a post it note and cut it out) and masked it off so I could add the flowers. When you mask off an image it makes everything you stamp around it look as if it's behind it.  The greeting I used is from the Thoughtful Words set.

For the second card I used the same set, Genuine Love but this time I created a wreath . To do that I had planned on using the Gina K wreath builder but I don't know where I put it so I had to wing it. I took a circle stencil and using a pencil I drew the outline very lightly, next I stamped the sprig all around the circle I drew and then erased the line. I wanted the majority of the flowers to all be on one side so I stamped some extra sprigs on that side also. I stamped the pink flowers on a scratch piece of card stock and fussy cut them out, cutting two of them way smaller. The greeting I used came from two different sets, Thoughtful Words and Scripty Thoughts

Here is a list of all the designers so you can hop along with us.
we will be giving away a $10 voucher to one lucky commenter.

All About the Peacocks

It's release day at at Picket Fence Studios and we have lots of new gorgeous stamps, dies and stencils.

Today's post I have focused on the peacocks, this stamp and the stencil are beautiful and I couldn't resist putting everything by the wayside and playing with them as soon as I received them

My first sample uses the Let's Shake Our Tail feathers stamp along with the Life Changing Blender Brushes and some oxide inks. I have linked everything below.

My second sample uses the peacock tail stencil, the Fabulously Perfect stamp, and the Life Changing Blender Brushes. I love the color combo of Gina K inks on this one so much that I used it again on my third sample. I also added some Nuvo Aqua Shimmer after I blended the inks

My third sample also uses the Peacock Stencil but this time I used a greeting from the Let's Shake Our Tail Feathers set.

Technique Junkies January Release Celebration

Happy New Year!

It's release day at Technique Junkie Stamps and we are releasing 15 new amazing stamps. This one Better With Coffee is one of my favorites. Even though I don't drink coffee, I do participate in the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog hops and it's a great addition to my coffee collection.
Remember you can save 10% on your order excluding new releases and clearance by using my code TJ10Ceal.

I had so much fun creating this card, I started with a white side folding card base and a white panel cut down a quarter of an inch smaller. Using the Original MISTI I stamped the image and then colored it using Copic markers. After I got it colored I added the sentiment in the coffee. There are 5 different greeting that come in this set, it's so versatile. To finish the card I had a little fun by adding shimmer to her nails and ring with Nuvo Midas Touch and Nuvo Glitter Gloss and then added some glossy accents on top of that.

Picket Fence Studios Release Day

It's release day at Picket Fence Studios and we have 5 new stamps and 3 coordinating dies which are amazing and fun! And if you have been following us on Instagram then you know that you and a friend can win this entire release! How cool is that!?! If you aren't following us on Instagram you are missing out, hurry now go and follow @picketfencestudios

To create my card I used this fun cookie and donut set Cookie or Donut?
I started with a top folding white card base. I stamped the bottom of the donut which can also be a cookie until you cut the hole out which is so cool and versatile. Next I stamped the toppings each with different colors of embossing powder, and for the hearts I added some Nuvo drops to give it dimension. The greeting in the set is altogether and unlike some artist, I just can't bring myself to cut my stamps even though I know it will not effect their impression. So I used a piece of washi tape and masked part of it off as I stamped it so it wouldn't be across the card but over to the side instead.

To create my card I started with a white top folding card base and a white panel to cover the card front. I stamped the image using Gina K Amalgam ink and then colored it using Copic markers. For the background I used a snowflake stencil (not sure by what company) and some Nuvo Glitter paste. I love the way to turned out to look like she is all wrapped up for the snowstorm.

Leave a comment on all blogs by 11:59PM EST Sunday  August 5th to be eligible to win a $25 gift certificate to the Joy Clair store.

For my sample I used the You Got This set and created a galaxy background to go with the greeting I chose because to me there is nothing more calming that a clear night sky where you can count the stars.
To create my card I started with a white top folding card base, a turquoise panel as a mat and then a bristol panel to create my background.
To create the galaxy background I used Distress Oxide inks in Picked Raspberry, Carved Pumpkin, Squeezed Lemonade, Peacock Feathers and Wilted Violet and randomly sponged them across the panel, next I used Hickory Smoke and Black Soot to cover them. To give it more of a galaxy appearance I splattered the panel with water and then dried it using a heat gun. Next I stamped the greeting in Versamark ink and embossed it in white. To finish the card I added some white acrylic paint splatters.

You have one more stop to make and that is Monica, she has some faboolous projects to show you.
