Hello, and welcome to the Sweet 'n Sassy after party blog hop for the March Release. We have some gorgeous sets in this release and the design team is hopping to show them off. Be prepared for some Gorgeous eye candy.
I used the Genuine Love set for the two cards I am showing you today.
To create the first card I stated with a white top folding card base and a white panel that I cut down with a scalloped stitched die. I stamped the heart in pink and then made a mask of it(stamped it again on a post it note and cut it out) and masked it off so I could add the flowers. When you mask off an image it makes everything you stamp around it look as if it's behind it. The greeting I used is from the Thoughtful Words set.
For the second card I used the same set, Genuine Love but this time I created a wreath . To do that I had planned on using the Gina K wreath builder but I don't know where I put it so I had to wing it. I took a circle stencil and using a pencil I drew the outline very lightly, next I stamped the sprig all around the circle I drew and then erased the line. I wanted the majority of the flowers to all be on one side so I stamped some extra sprigs on that side also. I stamped the pink flowers on a scratch piece of card stock and fussy cut them out, cutting two of them way smaller. The greeting I used came from two different sets, Thoughtful Words and Scripty Thoughts.
Here is a list of all the designers so you can hop along with us.
we will be giving away a $10 voucher to one lucky commenter.
