My Sweet Petunia and Unity Stamp Co. Collaboration Bloghop
Happy Friday!
We are hopping with the Unity Stamp Company's design team and some special crafters who love the MISTI and Unity Stamps. There is a list of everyone participating below, but you should have reached my blog via Stephanie's blog, if not you will want to head over to My Sweet Petunia and start from the beginning because there are prizes involved for those who leave comments on each blog by Noon CST May 30th. What are the prizes you ask??
Everyone who leaves a comment on all the blogs by the designated time will go into a drawing for 3 prize packs from unity and the winner's choice of an Original or Mini Misti. what a prize package huh??
For my card I used the set Happy Snail Mail. This image was super fun to color.
To make my card, I used a top folding kraft card base and the Quilted Stitched Spirals cover die and Stitched Rectangle both by Lil' Inker Designs. My ink pad was a little dry and I didn't have a refill so I positioned the stamp on the stitched panel in the Mini Misti to make sure I got a crisp image by over stamping. To color it I used Copic markers BG11, BG23, BG32 and R46 for the snail shell, YR01, Y23, and Y38 or the body, for the grass I used YG23 and YG25, and the mushroom is colored with YR16, YR68, E31, E33, E35 and Y28.
To make sure the greeting was straight I used the ruler that is in with the Creative Corners, I use this ruler on pretty much every card that has a greeting to help me stamp it straight.
Now it's time to head over to Robyn's blog to see what she has to show you. Be sure to leave comments so you are eligible to win.
The winners will be posted on both the My Sweet Petunia blog and the Unity blog, be sure to check back to see if you are a winner.
Thanks for hopping with us!
I have the entire list of participants below in case you get lost along the way.

Ombre Birthday
Back to my routine of late night card shares, I can always use birthday cards as I am trying my best to send out birthday cards to all who want them, so if you would like a handmade birthday card from me just let me know your birthday and address and I will do my best to get one to you.
To make this card I started with a white top folding card base and a couple sets by CAS-ual Fridays Stamps. I stamped the HBTU from the set Whole Shebang, with versamark ink and then embossed it in gold. Next I stamped the funky border from the Wish Big set in different reds and pinks to get an ombre' effect. To help me line up the borders I used the Original MISTI and the ruler from the Creative Corners.
Use 6 of the same thing on your card, I used 6 funky borders

My Sweet Petunia & Power Poppy Collaboration Bloghop
Team My Sweet Petunia (aka MISTI) is collaborating once again, this time with Marcella Hawley of Power Poppy and her Bloom Brigade design team. I tell ya this girl can draw the most gorgeous flowers! Aren't these some gorgeous tulips? I posted a card the other day using her Azalea set you can see it HERE.
You should have arrived here via Kathy's blog, if not no worries there is a complete list at the bottom of the post.
You will want to be sure to leave a comment on each DT members blog for a chance to win a MISTI (original or mini winner choice) or one of 2 $25 gift certificates to the Power Poppy store.
The winner of the MISTI will be announced on THIS PAGE of the My Sweet Petunia blog on April 14 and the Power Poppy winner will be posted on their blog also on April 14th.
To make this card I started with my favorite most loved stamping tool the MISTI and a white panel. I stamped the vase of tulips from the Loving Tulips set by Power Poppy and colored it using Copic markers. to help line up the greeting I used the ruler from the Creative Corners. I created the border on my panel with a stitched border by My Favorite Things. To finish the card and give it some bling I added some glimmer paper along the side.
I used Copic numbers R20, R21 and R22 for the tulips, YG11, YG03, YG25 for the leaves and YG41 and BG32 for the vase. I added a gray shadow under the vase using C2
Next on the hop is Tosha but

My Sweet Petunia & Honey Bee Collaboration Bloghop
Hello Everyone,
Team MISTI is collaborating with the design team of Honey Bee Stamps and prizes are involved.
You should have arrived here via Laurie's blog, but if you didn't no worries I have a complete list at the bottom of this post so you can hop along.
Today is my Birthday so I made a thank you card for all the birthday wishes and I also will be be giving away a prize later today over on Instagram so make sure to look me up (cealp)
For my card I used the Zen Floral set, the Large Thanks by Honey Bee Stamps, and the Original MISTI with the ruler from the Creative Corners to help me line up the stamp across the front of my card.
I stamped the floral images with Raven ink by Brutus Monroe and colored them with Copic markers, the thanks was stamped with Versamark ink and embossed with Sterling embossing powder from Brutus Monroe (the above picture doesn't show the embossing well but there's another below).
Here is how I used the ruler to help me line up the stamp. The Creative Corners help out so much when needing to line things up or stamp off the front, they have so many uses and are a must have addition to the MISTI.
Be sure to leave a comment on everyone's blog in order to have a chance to win a MISTI (winners choice Original or Mini) and a $45 gift certificate to Honey Bee Stamps. You have until April 6th to comment and the winner of the MISTI will be announced on THIS page on the My Sweet Petunia blog. And the winner of the Honey bee gift certificate will be on the Honey Bee blog.
Happy Hopping!

Smooshing
Late card share again for the 30 day coloring challenge at The Daily Marker. This card uses a floral stamp from Hero Arts that was given to me at Creativation and a large Thanks stamp by Honey Bee Stamps.
To make the card I used a white top folding card base and a watercolor paper panel cut down with a stitched die.
I stamped the floral image in Versamark ink and heat embossed it in white. This stamp is on a wood block so I used the Creative Corners from My Sweet Petunia to help me get a good impression, because of the texture of watercolor paper. I used Zig Cleancolor Realbrush pens to watercolor it. Next I attempted the "smoosh" technique with distress inks. As you can see my feeble attempt, smooshing did not come easy for me. I need lots of practice. Using the Original MISTI I added the large thanks using raven ink by Brutus Monroe, I literally had to overstamp this sentiment 10 times to get a good impression. I ended up embossing it with black embossing powder to give it a shine.
I am entering this one in a couple water color challenges

Creativation (cha) Wrap Up
Happy Sunday (night)!
I finally got a chance to sit down after my trip to CHA or Creativation as it is called now and let it all sink it. What an opportunity! I got to meet lots of my crafty friends and get a hug, I got to see all the new products coming out, thank goodness we could not purchase anything or I would have to get a second mortgage. I also got to meet some store owners and stamp company owners. I met the owners of Concord & 9th, Greg and Angie, they are the sweetest! I had so much fun and can't wait for next year.
I am so blessed to be part of an amazing team, My Sweet Petunia (Team MISTI). At Creativation I demoed the new Creative Corners. They are amazing
and another product that is a must have in your craftroom.
There are several ways to use them, on the card above I used them to make a corner so I could stamp off the edge of my card stock using the gorgeous layering stamp by Concord & 9th, Pretty Petals. I was asked by a friend and teammate to send a sympathy card to her MIL and this set was perfect. The greeting is from a Lil Inkers set. It's hard to see in the photo but I added a little shimmer to the flower with Wink of Stella.
I am also entering this one in a couple challenges
