Addiicted to Stamps & More - Any Occasion

Today starts a new challenge at Addicted to Stamps & More. This fortnight we are looking for Any Occasion cards.
I should have made a Birthday card because today is my Birthday!

To make this card, I started with a white top folding A2 card base and a stamp/stencil by Unity Stamp company.  I used VersaFine Clair inks and copic markers for coloring them. The greeting is from my stash and I can't emeber what company but I want to think that it's Pinkfresh Studio.

Layering Tulips

I am up on the My Sweet Petunia blog today with this card using this gorgeous set by Unity, Slimline Layering Tulips. Aren't they gorgeous?
To create this card I started with a white slimline card base and a white panel cut down a quarter of an inch smaller.
I placed the stamp in the original Misti and inked up with black hybrid ink. Next I placed the layered stencil according to the number of it and ink blended colors.
I love how you can use the Misti for so much more than stamping.
To finish the card I added a sentiment strip by Taylored Expressions

MTCC Sketch

Happy Monday!
It's time for a new challenge at Make The Cards Challenges. This week we have a sketch for you. Let me tell ya when I saw this sketch I knew exactly what I wanted to do with some of the scrap pieces I had in my stash.

To make this card I started with a white top folding card base and a white panel cut down with a stitched die.  I had some pieces of a foiled floral card gone bad (operator error) so I used the Hexagon die by Simon Says Stamp to cut a portion of it, I also has some striped design paper scraps by Altenew and the last hexagon I created with some distress oxide inks. To finish the card I added some gems from the Fire gem mix by Picket Fence Studios and a sentiment strip by Taylored Expressions
