Rediscover Your Supplies - August Edition

Today's card is for the Insta Hop, Rediscover Your Supplies. This hop encourages us to create with older supplies that we haven't used in a while or ever tucked away in our crafty spaces. My card uses a Create in Quads stencil by Taylored Expressions along with a balloon die and stamp set by The Stamp Market.

ATSM 524 Any Occasion

Today starts a new challenge at Addicted to Stamps & More. It's our any occasion challenge so t's a chance to stock up on whatever occasion you need to buld up in your stash.

To make this card, I started with a white top folding A2 card base and a white panel cut to the same size. I ran the ink across the embossing folder and then ran the panel through the die cutting machine using a 3D embossing folder. To finish the card, I added the greeting.

Clean & Simple Instagram Hop August Edition

Today's card is for the Clean and Simple Insta hop. This is where a group of makers use a monthly theme to make a Clean & Simple card. This months theme is Embossing. 

To make this card, I stamped the image from Taylored Expressions and colored it using Copic markers. I stamped the greeting with VersaMark ink and embossed it with Gold powder. Easy peasy CAS card.

Bi is for Birhday

Today starts a new challenge at Addicted to Stamps & More. It's our birthday challenge and a chance to add more birthday cards to your stash. 

My card is for a little fellow who will be turning one soon.

To make this  card, I started with a white top folding A2 card base. I stamped, colored and cut out the goose from the Silly Goose set by Taylored Expressions. I Used the No. 1 Fancy die set from Hero Arts to cut the number one out of patterned paper and the word one out of yellow cardstock. 

Christmas in July - Day 2

Today's theme  for the Christmas in July Instagram hop is Hearth & Home. We are in the process of selling our home so a lot of my supplies have been packed aay and I couldn't find what I was looking for so I went with a present, because you always have presents in your home at Christmas.

To make this card, I started with a white top folding A2 card base and a white panel cut to the same size. I stamped the background stamp by Taylored Expressions with VersaMark ink and then embossed it with gold powder. I added a red bow by The Greetery to the embossed panel to make it a giant present. 

Postage Party - June Edition

My card today is for the Postage Party hop over on Instagram and also a birthday card for a sweet friend.

Each month a group of us get together and share our postage creations using a particular theme. The theme this month was emboss resist. The little panel was created using the emboss resist technique with a background stamp from Hero Arts. The background on the large postage stamp is from Taylored Expressions and the friend die is also from Hero Arts. 

Following Jane

Today starts a new game at AAA Cards.  Game 312 is one of our newer games, Follow my Lead.The challenge is to make a projet following the leaders example. Our leader is Jane and you can find her card over on the AAA Cards blog.

To make this card, I started with an A2 white top folding card base and a white panel. I masked off the outer portions of the card so I would have a strip down the middle. I used the Tilted Plaid stencil by Erin Lee Creative to create the focal point down the center. I cut out the "hey" using the white panels and added it to the front

Clean & Simple Instahop April Edition

Today's card is for a monthly Clean and Simple Instahop that I participate in. Each month there is a different theme and this month is slimline.It can be a mini slim or regular slimline. I choose mini slim because I took the easy way out and used a mini slim panel by Taylored Expressions, all I had to do was color it and stamp a greeting.

Cube & Create - March Edition

This card is for the Cube & Create Instagram Hop that I participate in monthly.  This hop is where a group of us use Sara Renee Clarks Color Cubes for inspiration. A couple cards are drawn each month and we use those cards for inspiration. You do not have to have the cubes to participate if you would like to join us.

You may be thinking that this card looks familiar, it doesI have made a card earlier using the came stamp/stencil combo. When I seen the inspiration card that was drawn this stamp/stencil immediately came to mind. 

Addicted to Stamps & More 513 - Birthdays

Today starts a new challenge at Addicted to Stamps & More.  It's time for our birthday challenge. All of us could alwats use birthday cards in our stash. I hope ou will play along with us. 

My card uses the Balloon Party stamp/stencil como by Taylored Expressions.  This card was super fun to make but it took some concentration to make sure i didn't end up with "muddy" balloons. 

Clean & Simple Insta Hop - February Edition

Today's card is for the Clean and Simple Instagram hop. It's where a group of card makers are given a theme, make a CAS card using the theme and share their cards in a hop. 

To make this card, I started with a white top folding A2 card base and a white panel.  I used a heart cover plate by Concord & 9th for the background. The "love" is by Taylored Expressions and the "you" is by Concord & 9th.  It all came together nicely for a valentines card.

AAA Cards Game 295

Today starts a new game at AAA Cards. Our challenge is to create a Clean and Simple card using the middle circle and then add one from the outer four. 

To make this card, I started with a white top folding A2 card base and a white panel. Out of the white panel I stamped, colored and cut out the watermelon dude, and also the circle that he is placed on.  To finish this quick and easy card, I added a sentiment underneath and some highlights to the little melon dude. 

Postage Party

Today's card is for another hop over on Instagram. The hop is Postage Party and it's where a group of crafty friends get together and use the postage dies in different was each month. You can check it out over on instagram and even join us if you'd like. 

To make this card, I started with a white top folding A2 card base and a couple white panels. One panel I used as a layer and the other I cut out the postage die by Waffle Flower. The stencil set I used is Postage Collage Cupcake, also by Waffle Flower. I used both the Birthday Postage and the Everyday Postage stamp sets. 

Sending Sunshine

I am sharing this card over on Instagram for the Sending Sunshine Instagram hop that I participate in each month. The premise of this hop is to send out cards of encouragement to friends and family that you know are struggling. Life is hard so be kind. 

To make this card, I used the Snailed It card kit by Taylored Expressions. I created the snail and the little flowers using a stamp/stencil combo and then used a die to cut out all the pieces. The greeting is actually a panel that is meant to be used on the inside but I wanted it to be the focus so i cut it down and added it to the front of the card.
