To create my card I started with a top folding white heavy base weight card base and a panel of watercolor paper. I used one of the floral images and inked it up with different colors of ink and then spritzed it with water before stamping it. The small teal flowers are from the original wreath builder set.

Practice, Practice, Practice

I have been practicing no line coloring, both Copic and watercoloring, this poppy stamp by Concord & 9th I colored sing Copic markers and I had wrote the numbers down but for the life of me I have no clue what I did with the paper.

To create my card I started with a white top folding card base. I used the Hope stamp set by Altenew along with the MISTI to stamp the flower. Its a four step layering stamp and there is no way I could have stamped it without the Misti.

I used a greeting from the set Dearest Friend also by Altenew.

For my card I used the new set Best Buds, this set has the cutest images and will make the perfect friendship card.

To make this card I started with a top folding card base, some patterned paper and a white panel cut down with a postage stamp die.
I stamped the cute bunny images using Memento ink and colored the ears and gave them a little blush with a Copic marker R20. To create the background behind them I masked off the bunnies an blended some distress oxide inks in Broken China and Twisted Citron as the grass and sky.

I have some more Crafty news. I have joined the Happy Little Stampers CAS team. If you have never heard of Happy Little Stampers it is an Australian stamp company and they have a site dedicated to challenges and a community forum you should check it out HERE. The challenges are once a month so plenty of time to play along, our challenge this month is 

For my card I used a set that I have had for a couple of months and just getting a chance to ink this cute little bear up.

I started with a Crumb cake top folding card base and a white panel cut down with a stitched die. I stamped the outline of the bear from the set Hi There Bear by Concord & 9th in Soft Suede and then using the Mini MISTI I lined up the body of the bear and stamped him in Crumb Cake and then a second generation of Soft Suede. To keep the card simple I just added the greeting to finish it off. 

Oh, Hello

Late night card share for our team challenge to make 15 cards in 15 days using Stampin Up. This is number 7 and I am running out of time so you may see more than one post a day as I also have other obligations. 

To make this card I started with a Crumb Cake top folding note card, I used a set from the new catalog Oh So Eclectic. I stamped the floral image with Versamark ink and then embossed in white, next I masked off the image and stamped the leaves also in Versamark and embossed them along with the greeting in white. To finish the card I added some Nuvo enamel drops.

I am also entering this one in a couple other challenges as well.

To make my card I started with a top folding white note card and the You're so Lovely set by Hero Arts, I stamped the images with Bermuda Bay, Peekaboo Peach and Sweet Sugarplum inks by Stampin Up and then cut them out with the coordinating dies. The greeting is from the set Oh So Eclectic by Stampin Up,

To finish the card I added some clear sequins from Pretty, Pink, Posh.

Celebrating with my friend Dana AKA Got Joy Creations

Welcome everyone to the blog anniversary and Youtube channel celebration for my crafty friend Dana (who I got to meet the past January at CHA) of Got Joy Creations. I was so honored when she asked me to join her celebration hop.

You are in for a magnificent hop with some incredible talented ladies. We will be sharing projects that were inspired from creations found on Dana's youtube channel. 

 My card was inspired by THIS CARD using distress oxide inks with a stencil.

To make my card I used a Neat & Tangled stencil and the Say Hello dies by Concord & 9th. I taped down the stencil and then randomly blended the following colors of distress oxide inks, Cracked Pistachio, Worn Lipstick, Broken China, Wilted Violet and Fossilized Amber. After removing my stencil I spritzed with water to get the reaction from the inks. 

The hop will run from June 30 to July 5th.

Oxidized Mandalas

I am up on the Concord & 9th blog today with my third post as one of the April guest designers. I have been having so much fun with this release For the first card I used the Many Mandalas set  which was designed specifically for the MISTI along with some Distress Oxide inks in Worn Lipstick, Fossilized Amber, Spiced Marmalade, Cracked Pistachio, Broken China and Wilted Violet to create the rainbow background. I stamped the mandalas in Versamark ink and embossed them in white, next I blended the distress oxide inks across the panel and then spritzed it with water to get the ink to react. I added a sentiment from the Say Hello stamp set embossed in white on a black strip. To finish the card I added some sequins for sparkle.

For my second card I used the left over background from the first card and the Say Hello Bundle. I cut out the "hello" before I spritzed with water and also cut the hello word out of black card stock to layer it and make it stand out more. You can see the Many Mandalas in the background of the hello. To finish the card I used the MISTI again to add friend underneath.

This should have totally posted while I was in Utah but didn't, I wasn't online much and did't notice until now 

It is my turn to host the challenge at Addicted to CAS and I chose the code word Rain, because it seems to rain a lot here in North Carolina, I wasn't use to much rain in Colorado. Our sponsor this week is Stamplorations with a $10 voucher to their store 

To make my card, I used this cute set from WPlus9 "Love Showers" along with the matching die. I cut the umbrella out of the awesome plaid paper from Lawn Fawn and the love out of watercolor paper and painted it with Koi watercolors
