I am still guesting for Gina K Designs,  I tell ya this February release is amazing. I love each and every set. The set I am using today is Watercolor Flowers and it is gorgeous! 

I am using the current sketch from CAS(E) This Sketch 

To create my card I started with a top folding white heavy base weight card base and a panel of watercolor paper. I used one of the floral images and inked it up with different colors of ink and then spritzed it with water before stamping it. The small teal flowers are from the original wreath builder set.

Gina K - Wonderful World

This stamp set, Wonderful World is one of my favorites from the February release at Gina K. The entire release if you haven't seen it you should go now and shop.

To create this card, I started with a white heavy base weight card base and a white panel of layering weight card stock both by GinaK.  I stamped the globe image with Barely There Amalgam ink and colored it using Copic markers. Next I masked off the globe image and added the clouds using a stencil from My Favorite Things, after I completed the background I removed the mask and using the Original MISTI I added the stand and then the greeting

A world of Thanks

Today I am featuring another set from the Gina K Designs February release, Wonderful World and it is my favorite. I love the floral globe. 

This card is for Gina herself for asking me to guest design, as I said she is a sweetheart. 

To create this card I started with a top folding Turquoise Sea card base and a white panel cut down a quarter of an inch smaller. I used a cloud stencil by My Favorite Things and Turquoise Sea ink to create the background. I stamped the floral globe with Black Amalgam ink and colored it using Copic Markers. The holder for the globe was cut out of gold foil paper using the coordinating dies. For the greeting I stamped it and embossed it with gold embossing powder and the used the new Cut-Align by My Sweet Petunia to cut it to the size I needed.

Sweeten your Soul

Hi there!

I am back with another guest post for Joy Clair. I love these stamps they are so versatile and can be used for both bible journaling or card making. 

This week I chose to journal in my bible with the Bee Kind set. This set goes perfect with Proverbs 16:24 "Gracious words are like honeycomb, sweetness to the soul and health to the body."

To make my bible journaling page, I masked off the Proverbs 16:24 verse in my bible and then sponged on some Fossilized Amber distress ink across the entire page and removed the mask to highlight the verse. Next I used the honeycomb image and randomly stamped it in Lawn Fawn walnut ink and then stamped the two sentiments and bees from the Bee Kind set in Memento Tuxedo Black. 

It's hard to see in the picture but I added some Wink of Stella on the bees wings and body to give them a shimmer. I also added some honeycomb wash tape that I found in my stash to give it more texture.

Happy news alert! 

I am guest designing for A Muse Studio for the month of June! You will see my card featured through out the month on their social media accounts and blog so be sure to follow them. 

My first card of the month features the Hey Gullfriend set. this set has some super cute images in it for summer card making. For my card started with a white top folding card base and a piece of their scallop cardstock for the ocean. I colored the two gulls with Copic markers and cut them out with the coordinating die set.
