Squirrel!!

I am up on the Dare 2B Artzy blog today sharing this card. I love this Squirrel! set it is the cutest!

To make this card I started with a slim mini white card base and a panel of colored cardstock and some of the paper from the Fall Harvest paper pack. I used the Wavy Slim Mini dies to cut both panels. I stamped and colored the squirrel and then cut them out with the coordinating dies. The sentiment is from the Foxy Greeting set.

Fall is my favorite time of the year and the color combo I used on my card is a new favorite. To create this card I started with a white top folding card base, a black panel for the mat and a Bristol panel.
I stamped the image using embossing ink and then embossed it my favorite gold embossing powder. Next I blended Sorbet, Stardust and Aqua Sky inks by Concord and 9th over the image and then added a tag with the Leaves Turn sentiment.

More Picket Fence

I am back with day two of the August release by Picket Fence Studios.
Today I am bringing you a couple fall cards made with some new sets, Leaf Mandala  and A World of Octobers paired up with one of my favorite older sets, A Little Nuts

The first card I made another shaker card, I think I am on a shaker kick since we came out with these sequin mixes.
I stamped the Leaf Mandala on a piece of white cardstock and colored it using Copic markers. I measured where I wanted the opening and used a circle die to cut a circle out of a piece of Honey Mustard cardstock. I added a piece of acetate behind to make a window, placed the sequins on the front and then laid down the window piece over them. I stamped the squirrel, colored him and cut him out ad placed him on the front. To finish the card I added a greet from the More Fancy Sentiments set.

For the second card I stamped the pumpkin from the A World of Octobers set and then masked it off to stamp the squirrel from the A Little Nuts set. I colored them both with copies markers and added some acorns also from the A Little Nuts set along the ground.

Fall Inspiration

It's time for a new challenge at CAS-ual Fridays and this one is an inspiration Photo.

Fall is finally here but boy did it come quick, seems like the leaves turned in a few days instead of weeks.
To create my card I started with a top folding white card base and a pice of faux wood patterned paper. I stamped the wreath from the Wheat Wreath set a couple times using two different inks to achieve the color I wanted. Next I stamped the greeting in Versamark ink on the patterned paper and heat embossed it in white. I fussy cut out the wreath and popped it up around the greeting.

Joy Clair Fall in Love

Hello and welcome to the Joy Clair Fall in Love event with all of our design team, so be sure to head to the Joy Clair blog so you can see everyone's project using our new release stamps.

To create my card I used the new release Falling Leaves Background with the Hello Sentiments set.
I started with a white top folding card base and stamped it twice once once on scrap paper and once on the card front. I colored the one stamped on the scratch paper using Copic markers and fussy cut it out and then attached it to the card front and left the rest f the leaves uncolored. For the greeting I used the Hello Sentiments and outlined the hello with a fine black marker. The word fall is from the Hello Autumn set

For my card I started with a kraft top folding note card and the With Gratitude set by Altenew. I stamped the leaves and then used Faber Castelle poloychromos pencils to color them in.

Coffee Lovers Fall Bloghop

I am back from Retreat, just in time to make a card for the Fall Coffee Lovers Bloghop. I do not drink coffee but I  do drink plenty of tea and pumpkin spice lattes.

To make my card I used a new set by Stampin Up, Merry Cafe and the Coffee Cups framelits along with my favorite autumn sets, Vintage Leaves.

To make my card I started with a white top folding note card and randomly stamped some leaves from the Vintage Leaves set in Pumpkin Pie, So Saffron and Pool Party diagonally across the front of the card. Next I used some patterned paper and stamped the latte cup and lid and die cut them with the Coffee Cup framelits. I finished the card by adding the greeting  from the Merry Cafe set on a sleeve also cut with the Coffee Cups framelits.

Ombre'

Happy Saturday!
It's time for another challenge at Addicted to CAS, our sponsor for this challenge is Happy Little Stampers with a $15 gift certificate.

For my card I started with a top folding white card base, a white panel cut down with a stitched die from the Blueprints 15 from MFT Stamps and a piece of watercolor paper.  I stamped the leaf image from the Lace Leaf Stamp set from Concord & 9th in Versamark ink and then embossed it in white.  I always use the MISTI when stamping on watercolor paper because of the texture, to make sure I get a crisp image. Another tip on the MISTI is I also use the Mini Misti to line up my panel. I just police my card base in the corner and then it allows me to place my front on and it not be crooked, give it a try.
To get the ombre effect on the leaf I sponged the following distress inks from top to bottom, Rusty Hinge, Spiced Marmalade, Wild Honey and Scattered Straw.
For the shadow, I sponged the inks directly on the stamp and them stamped it on the paper. To finish the card I added the greeting in Memento Tuxedo Black and a strip of design paper on the inside.

Happy Stamping,

So Suzy October Release

Happy Wednesday!
It's finally here, the So Suzy Stamps October release is live and ready for you to shop.
For my card I used the Maple Line Leaf and the Autumn Shows stamps, love both of these. This release is fabulous so make sure you check out our FB page to see how they are used by the rest of the DT.

To make my card I started with a top folding white A2 card base and a white panel cut with my go to stitched die.  I randomly stamped the leaf image with Versamark ink and embossed with white embossing powder.  For the background I blended Mustard Seed, Carved Pumpkin, and Crushed Olive. I left a little corner with no image so I could stamp the greeting in the space. I love how pretty these leaves are when they are embossed, I have added a closeup of them below

Thanks for looking!

Fall is Here

I am on Vacation and this didn't post, I didn't get a chance to post it until now.

It's time for a new game at AAA Cards, our sponsor is Stampendous and they are offering a $20 voucher to their store.

To make my card I started with a top folding A2 card base and a white panel cut with a stitched die from My Favorite Things. I stamped the scarecrow in the center of the panel and then again on some masking paper, cut it out and placed it over my stamped image. Next I used a stencil and some distress inks for the background. After removing the masking paper I colored the scarecrow with Copic markers and paper pieced his shirt and hat. To finish the card I added the Happy Harvest greeting.
