Scripture Crosses

I am up on the Sweet 'n Sassy blog today with these two cards featuring one of our new releases, Scripture Crosses

For my first sample (above) I started with a white top folding card base and another panel of white card stock.  I created the rainbow background by blending pink, blue, and yellow with a Life Changing Blending brush.  After I covered the piece of card stock, I stamped the Scripture cross using Versafine Clair ink.

For my second sample (below) I also started with a white top folding card base and a white panel of card stock and a panel of faux wood patterned paper.
I stamped the scripture cross using Versamark ink and embossed it with white embossing powder. Next I used the Life Changing Blending Brushes to add the brown and the popped it on a piece of faux wood patterned paper.

Anything Goes

It't time for new challenge at Addicted to Stamps & more and there is no reason not to play along because its

My card uses this cute Stamp of the month by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps, Hoppy Easter. You can earn this set free with a $60 order but hurry because today is the last day to earn it free.

To make my card I started with a white top folding card base and a white panel cut down with a stitched die. I stamped the bunny and then masked it off and then stamped the grass from the Serene Shilouettes: Tall Grass in Catherine Pooler's Grass Skirt and Lime Rickey inks. After I removed the mask I colored the bunny using Chameleon pens.

Some Bunny

I don't know about you but I am so ready for some spring weather. Easter is not that far away so I created this card using our Stamp of the Month, Hoppy Easter.  You can earn this stamp free with a $60 order.

To make my card I used a stencil by Altenew and some of the new Zen Garden ink colors by Catherine Pooler/
I started with a top folding card base and a white panel cut down with a stitched die by My Favorite Things I placed the Watercolor Series stencil over the stitched panel and taped it down. Using a stencil brush I gently brushed color across each stripe. I stamped the bunny from the Hoppy Easter set on a scrap piece of paper and colored it using Chameleon pens.

I am entering this one in a couple challenges that are new to me

Sunday's Coming

Spent some time today making some little Easter goody baskets for my nieces and nephew. I can't believe that tomorrow is Easter, its so early this year.
the Berry Basket Bigz die from Stampin Up makes it so fast and easy to make these cute baskets and can be used for so many different occasions. I also used the Bow punch to add the cute bow to the front of the basket.

Halfway There

It's day 15 for the 30 day coloring challenge that I am participating in at The Daily Marker, so I am halfway to the finish. I also made this card for the online class that I am taking, "Stretch Your Dies". Jennifer McGuire taught how to use your dies you have on hand to make a gate fold card. I needed to make some more easter cards, so I used an egg die from Memory Box and a few sets from Stampin Up, Indescribable Gift , Gorgeous Grunge
and Something Lacy background stamp. I colored the image with Copic markers and the stamped the background in Smoky Slate, I didn't get a clean image on my background stamping so I sponged around the edges to hide my mistake. If I would have been able to use the MISTI this partial stamping would have not happened, but my background stamp is wood mounted. Since owning the MISTI, I now order my stamps in Photopolymer or cling mount.

Golden Easter

My card share today is for a few different things, a few challenges and
I am participating in the 30 Day Coloring Challenge. To make my card I embossed my image in gold and then colored it with my Copic markers. I cut a strip of vellum and embossed the greeting in gold and added it to the bottom of the card. I used a small strip of score tape and burnished glitter on it to separate the vellum piece.

If you want to play along, you can get all the deets HERE. There are prizes involved if you make it the entire 30 days. The good thing about this challenge is that you do not necessarily have to make a card, you can just color and either upload on instagram using hashtag #thedailymarker30day. or post to your blog.
I am entering this one in the Anything Goes challenge at Loves Rubberstamps
and a couple girly challenges

Simon Says Wednesday ~ Special Lady/Girly (anything girly/feminine will do)
and
CAS on Sunday ~ Girl Power
