Picket Fence Studios Release day

It's release day at Picket Fence Studios and I love this release. Lots of stamps you can use to make Christmas cards and making Christmas cards is one of my favorite holidays to make cards for. It's like Christmas in July!

The first card above uses the set Baby It's Cold Outside along with the Field of Snowy Trees stencil. To create this card I used a slimline die and slider by Lawn Fawn for the base. I created the sky using the Life Changing Blender Brushes and the snowy trees by using the stencil. I watered down some Snowdrop White Paper Glaze and splattered it for the snowflakes and added some to the bottom of the card as well for snow.
I stamped the three santas and colored them using Copic markers and added one to the track to slide back and forth.

For my second card above, I used the Most Wonderful Time of the Year set. I started with a white card base and white panel. I stamped the Tree in Christmas Green then masked off the bottom of the panel and the tree to create the sky by using the Life Changing Blender Brushes and Snowdrop White Paper Glaze for the snowflakes. The sentiment is from the Believe in the Magic set, I stamped it with my favorite embossing ink and embossed it in white.

The third card above,  I used the Shading Flower stencil and some Infusions.
I started with a kraft card base and a panel of bristol water friendly paper. I sprayed the stencil with Pixie Dust to hold it down securely to the bristol panel. Next sprinkled some Infusions by Paper Artsy and spritzed with water and then allowed it to dry naturally before I removed the stencil. To finish the card I added a sentiment from the Inside Quotes Christmas set.

For my fourth card above,  I used the Ho Ho Ho set. I started with a top folding white card base, a black panel and a white panel. I stamped the stocking images over the entire panel and colored them using Copic markers. Next I stamped the greeting with my favorite embossing ink and embossed it using hot pink embossing powder. I fussy cut it out adhered it to a black piece of cardstock and then fussy cut it again for a mat.

I have all of my supplies linked below with Link Deli and would love you to use them if you shop, it is no additional cost to you but I get a small commission when my links produce sales. Thank you so much for your support of this blog.

Rainbow Hair, Don't Care

Happy Sunday!
Today I am sharing a card using one of our July releases at Picket Fence Studios, French Braids.
When I saw this stamp I immediately thought how fun it would be to have rainbow braids, I have always kina wanted rainbow hair but I am chicken to color my hair.

To create this card I started with a white top folding card base and a white panel, I stamped the Vortex of Hearts using Gina K Designs embossing ink and white embossing powder, then using the Life Changing Blending Brushes I added some Blue Raspberry ink. Next I stamped the French Braids image on a scrap piece of Artist Choice cardstock, colored it using Copic markers and then cut it out using the coordinating French Braids die and popped it up on the front of my card. The greeting is from the Unicorn of The Sea set.

JunkieFest

It's time for another challenge at Addicted to Stamps and more and we want you to make your mark. You can use markers, watercolors, or any other medium that you can color with.

To create my card I started with a white top folding card base and stamped the floral image by Ink on 3 on a scrap piece of card stock and fussy cut it out, then popped it on the front of the base using foam tape. I colored it using Copic markers.
I am headed to Minnesota tomorrow morning and this is a thank you card for one of the teachers of a class I am taking. It's going to be a fun weekend!

Wheels On The Bus ...

It is time for another challenge at Addicted to CAS, our sponsor is Happy Little Stampers with a $15 gift certificate.

To make my card I started with a top folding white card base, a yellow mat and a white panel for my image. I stamped the image by Avery Elle and colored it with Copic markers. To finish the card I added the balloon and the greeting by using the MISTI to ensure precision stamping since I had already colored the main image.

One Layer Wonder

Late night card share for you using a couple of stamps from CAS-ual Fridays Stamps. March is my birthday month and lots of my friends have birthdays also in March so I have lots of cards to make and get in the mail.
With this being a one layer card it was super simple to make I used a stencil, some Clarity brushes and Wplus9 Ink to make my background and then stamped the floral image from the set Truth Is... and colored it with Copic markers. Next I stamped the greeting from Whole Shebang set also from CAS-ual Fridays. I used the MISTI and the Creative Corners to help me line them up.
To finish the card I added some Nuvo Crystal drops.

I am entering this one in the Challenge at

Finishing Touches

Still running behind on my posting for OCC.  Today we learned to use "finishing touches" there are several different ways, but I chose to transform my image by adding my own "lines" to the image. I used the Blossoming Buds set from Paper Smooches and it you look at it, my flowers look nothing like the flowers in the image because I added my own lines/doodles to them and transformed the image. Because I doodled in my flowers I felt like a doodled border around it was fitting.

I am entering this one in a few anything goes challenges

Supply List:

It's A Good Day To be Happy

I am playing catch up with the Hope You Can Cling To challenges at Splitcoast stampers.  I made this one for the challenge of "Hope Floats"  to use something that floats on your card with an encouraging greeting. This set from Mama Elephant was perfect.
I also used some techniques I learned in my OCC colic class of backgrounds. I actually used Copic markers to make my cloud background instead of sponging. For the patterns on my balloons I used a white Signo pen

Supply List:
Stamp Set: Up & Away (Mama Elephant)
Die: Index Card (Mama Elephant)
