Be Merry

It's time for our Christmas challenge at Addicted to Stamp and More. The challenge is simple, all you have to do is make a christmas card. We can all use a head start making our holiday cards.

To make this card, I started with a white top folding A2 card base, a white piece of cardstock for the circle element and moose and a strip of patterned paper.
I stamped the moose, colored him and cut him out using the coordinating die. I cut a circle out of the white CS and ran it through the machine using a snowflake cover plate.
To finish the card I added the pattern paper, stamped the greeting on the circle, added it and then added the moose popped up using foam adhesive.

A Little Snarky

Taking a short break from making Christmas cards to bring you a couple of snarky cards. I am up on the Sweet 'n Sassy blog today with these two cards featuring the set released last month, A Little Snarky

To create these cards I started with white side folding card bases. I cut the frames out of design paper using the Scalloped Pierced Rectangles by Avery Elle. I stamped the girls from the set on white card stock, colored them using Copic markers and then fussy cut them out.  I love how they look so different just by changing their skin tone.
To finish the cards I added the frames to the card base , tucked the girls in them and then added a sentiment from that same set.

Retro Christmas

It's time for the our first monthly Christmas challenge of the new year at Happy Little Stampers. You may be sick of making Christmas cards by now but this challenge is to help you get ahead start on your holiday card making.

For my card I used a oldie but goodie stamp set by Avery Elle, Retro Christmas. This set is retired but I love it so I continue to use it. I stamped the image and colored it using Copic markers and then added some gold to the top and around the panel using this Gold Pen.

Favorite Technique

It's time for a new challenge at AAA Cards and our sponsor is SugarPea Designs with a $25 gift certificate. I love SugarPea, Wendy has so many cute stamps.

Our challenge is to use your favorite technique and this was a challenge for me, I have lots of favorites. I had to chose one, so I chose watercoloring. I love to color in general wether its with watercolors, copics or zigs.
To create my card I started with a white top folding card base a piece of watercolor paper. I stamped the image using Brutus Monroe Raven ink and watercolored it using Daniel Smith watercolors. The stamp I used is a collaboration between Ellen Hudson & Avery Elle. The card I needed was a baby card and there wasn't a greeting in the set that fit the bill so the greeting is by Lawn Fawn.

Wheels On The Bus ...

It is time for another challenge at Addicted to CAS, our sponsor is Happy Little Stampers with a $15 gift certificate.

To make my card I started with a top folding white card base, a yellow mat and a white panel for my image. I stamped the image by Avery Elle and colored it with Copic markers. To finish the card I added the balloon and the greeting by using the MISTI to ensure precision stamping since I had already colored the main image.

Welcome Little One

Happy Sunday!
It's time for another challenge at AAA Cards and our sponsor is Stampendous with a $20 gift certificate up for grabs, all you have to do is play along by linking up a CAS card to our blog.

This card only took me about 6 minutes to make, I started with a white top folding card base and a white stitched panel cut with my go to die from MFT's Blueprints 15. As I was cutting the stitched panel, I also cut out the Peek-a-Boo circle, also from My Favorite Things. The stamp I used is from Avery Elle's Storybook set. I stamped it directly on the front of the card where it would be in the circle when I added the panel. To finish the card and keep it CAS I added just the sentiment.

Dizzy

Quick share before we head out this morning. This card was crazy simple to make. I started with a Pool Party base and a white panel, I used a stitched die from MFT and a snowflake (yes those are snowflakes) die from Memory Box behind the little fairy from Avery Elle. I colored her up with Copic markers and added Wink of Stella on her wings.

I am hoping that my background die qualifies this one for the challenge at

Thanks for stopping by!
