Clean & Simple Instahop April Edition

Today's card is for a monthly Clean and Simple Instahop that I participate in. Each month there is a different theme and this month is slimline.
It can be a mini slim or regular slimline. I choose mini slim because I took the easy way out and used a mini slim panel by Taylored Expressions, all I had to do was color it and stamp a greeting.

Clean & Simple Instagram Hop - March Edition

Todays card is for a hop that I like to participate in over on Instagram. Its a CAS hop where a group of us clean and simple card makers share a card using a monthly theme. March's theme is Friendship.
To make this card, I started with a white top folding A2 card base and a white scrap for the sentiment.  I stamped some flowers and foliage on the card base and then added the sentiment using foam tape. I also stamped one of the flowers cut it out with the coordinating die and added it on the corner with foam tape over the other one.

Pumpkins

I am up on the Sweet 'n Sassy blog today sharing this card using the Autumn Gnomes set. This is a great set because not only does it have cute little gnomes, it also has these pumpkins.

To make this CAS card, I started with a white top folding card base and a white panel which I cut down with a scalloped/stitched die cut. I stamped the image on the panel and then colored it using Copic markers. I added a little grass under the pumpkins and the greeting to finish the card.

This card is also for the CAS challenge at Splitcoaststampers.

CAS613

We have a new CAS challenge at Splitcoaststampers and I am this weeks host so I hope you will play along.

To create my card I started with a top folding white card base, a black panel for the mat and a panel of bristol for ink blending.
I stamped the leaf background from Taylored Expressions with embossing ink and embossed it in gold embossing powder. Next using the Life Changing Blender Brushes and inks in Sorbet, Stardust and Aqua Sky I inked blended over the embossed image.
To finish the card I added a sentiment also from Taylored Expressions.

Choose Joy

I am up on the Sweet 'n Sassy blog today with these two clean and simple cards.
I have been swamped making lots of cards for the Dare to Get Dirty challenges at Splitcoaststampers. I finished up friday night at 12:46 Am with 13 minutes to spare. I tried to incorporate as many upcoming blog posts as I could into the challenges but this one I didn't get a chance to, so I decided to create two super simple cards that wouldn't take long to make.
The first card uses the Be Unique set. I stamped the adorable unicorn, colored it using Copic markers and added a little shimmer with a Nuvo glitter pen.
The second card uses the Over the Moon set. I stamped the rocket, colored it with Copic markers and also added some shimmer with a Nuvo glitter pen.
The sentiments on both cards are from the Faith Wordfetti set.

Vellum

Happy October
It's time for our monthly CAS Challenge at Happy Little Stampers.
I have not used Vellum in so long I had to look for it in my studio.
The winner of our challenge will receive a $20 gift certificate to the HLS store, so I hope you will play along.

To create my card I started with a white top folding card base and a panel of bristol paper. I used the Snowflake turnabout stamp by Concord and 9th and stamped it all four turns with Versafine ink and then embossed in white embossing powder. The die cut is also by Concord & 9th cut out of vellum twice to make it a little more visible.

September Reminder Calling All Sistahs

It's the 17th of the month and time for the Calling All Sistahs reminder to check your girls. I have quite a few friends fighting this horrible disease at the present time, so please get your mammograms so you are not added to the count.
As I have said before I lost my mom to breast cancer at a young age and I am a survivor myself so cancer hits home with me and I do not want any more of my friends to have to fight this horrible disease.

Cancer can be beaten if caught early so please do self exams and get your mammograms once a year if thats what the doctor suggests. You can also help find a cure by purchasing products from the Calling All Sistahs line where 50% of the profits go towards breast cancer research.

Now for my reminder card.
I used the Calling All Sistahs set along with the Truth Is set.
I started with a pink top folding note card and a panel cut down with a stitched die. I stamped the image with memento ink and colored it with Chameleon markers. The greeting is from the Calling all Sistahs set and I stamped the little butterfly from the Be set.

Like the sentiment says cancer is not contagious but can be caught early so do those self checks and get those mammograms!
