September Reminder Calling All Sistahs

It's the 17th of the month and time for the Calling All Sistahs reminder to check your girls. I have quite a few friends fighting this horrible disease at the present time, so please get your mammograms so you are not added to the count.  As I have said before I lost my mom to breast cancer at a young age and I am a survivor myself so cancer hits home with me and I do not want any more of my friends to have to fight this horrible disease.
Cancer can be beaten if caught early so please do self exams and get your mammograms once a year if thats what the doctor suggests. You can also help find a cure by purchasing products from the Calling All Sistahs line where 50% of the profits go towards breast cancer research.
Now for my reminder card.  I used the Calling All Sistahs set along with the Truth Is set. I started with a pink top folding note card and a panel cut down with a stitched die. I stamped the image with memento ink and colored it with Chameleon markers. The greeting is from the Calling all Sistahs set and I stamped the little butterfly from the Be set.
Like the sentiment says cancer is not contagious but can be caught early so do those self checks and get those mammograms!

World Cardmaking Day

Well I didn't get to make a bunch of cards today, had other things to do but here is one I made today for a challenge at Blitsy and  the Hope You Can Cling to challenges. Tomorrow will be a busy day as well, we have two showings on the house and then maybe I can come back and get some cards made for all the challenges that haven't expired.

HYCCT Day 3

It's day 3 for the Hope You Can Cling To challenges over at Splitcoaststampers and the challenge is I Am A Warrior. To make my card I used an stamps from My Favorite things that's a couple years old so it's probably retired but I like it so I kept it around. I made my background ombre' so I could enter it in the Simon Says Monday challenge.
