AAA299 - A Color Challenge

A new game starts today at AAA Cards Challenge and its a color challenge.

To make this card, I used products from Brutus Monroe that were included  in one of the Crop & Create events.
With all that has gone on in the world this week, I feel this sentiment is what someone needs to hear!
Jesus Loves you!

Rubik's Cube

It's time for a new game at AAA cards and it's a sketch. There is also the option to make it a teen card.

To make this card, I started with a top folding A2 card base and a panel cut to the same size.
I stamped the Rubik's cube (loved these as a teen) and colored it using OLO markers. To finish the card I added the sentiment.
Super quick and easy card.

More Christmas Tags

Todays tag is another snowflake tag using a snowflake set by Brutus Monroe. I put up several trees each year and these tags are for the gifts underneath my snow themed tree so they are perfect.
This tag is super easy to make, simply cut out your tag using kraft cardstock and then using a snowflake set emboss the snowflakes in white. To  help me center the sentiment, I used the New Mis-T ruler.

Dare 2B Artzy meets Brutus Monroe

Hello and thanks for stopping by!
Today Dare 2B Artzy and Brutus Monroe are teaming up for a collaboration hop over on instagram.

There are prizes so if you are on instagram, head over there and leave comments on all the stops.

To create my card I started with a top folding white card base and a white panel. I used the Mermaid Lagoon-Tangled Waves stencil by Brutus Monroe. See what I did there?  I totally stretched this stencil. I also used the Frost Bite embossing powder for the snow. I couldn't get it to photograph well but the snow has a blue hint to it when light hits it.
The stamp set I used is the Christmoose set along with the coordinating dies by Dare 2B Artzy.

Inner Mermaid

Happy Sunday!
Today's card is brought to you by a few different companies, Brutus Monroe, Ellen Hutson and Tailored Expressions.

To create this card I started with a top folding white card base. I laid the stencil from Brutus Monroe over it and then used the Life Changing Blender Brushes to blend the two different inks Buttercup and Honeysuckle to create the border. Next I stamped the mermaid tail by Taylored expressions and cut it out with the coordinating die and popped it up on the background. To finish the card I added greeting by Ellen Hutson.

30 Day Coloring Challenge

Hello and thanks for stopping by.

Today I am sharing a couple cards that I created for the The Daily Markers 30 day coloring challenge. Both of these cards are shared on my Instagram page and I thought I would share them here as well. In case you don't follow me on Instagram my account there is @cealp. and I will be holding a couple of giveaways there soon, so be sure to follow me there.

Since it is officially spring I have been making spring cards.
My First card using a Brutus Monroe set, Love You Florals. To create this card I started with a white top folding card base, a black panel and a white panel for the image. I stamped the florals with a Copic friendly ink and colored them with Copic markers. The greeting is by Tailored Expressions out of one of the Simple Strips sets.

The second card uses the Meadow Blossoms and Brushed Strip Background  by Concord & 9th. As you can probably tell I LOVE these two sets because I have used them both quite a bit, they just pair up so nicely.

Supplies are pictured below along with affiliate links with no additional cost to you but a small commission for me. thank you for your support!

Poinsettia Star

Welcome to day 11 of the 25 days of Christmas series. Today's card is also brought to you by Picket fence Studios. This poinsettia is one of my favorites for Christmas card making, it's so beautiful and definitely a star.

I am also up on the Picket Fence Studios Blog with this one as well. The  Christmas Poinsettia Star is one of my all time favorite poinsettia stamps.
I stamped the image using embossing ink and the embossed it with white embossing powder. I watercolored the flower using Metallic Aqua Pigment by Brutus Monroe. To finish the card I used the Merry Christmas Foil Impressions die by Picket Fence Studios.

It's hard to get the light to show the foil so I took a close up

O Holy Night

Sharing a quick card using the O Holy Night set by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps. It is only 103 days until Christmas? I have to get busy on my Christmas cards!

To create  this card I started with a white top folding card base, an embossed panel and the O holy Night stamp set.  I stamped the scripture tree from the set in Versamark ink and then embossed it in gilded embossing powder by Brutus Monroe. I used the double stitched ovals from Gina K cut it out and make it the focal point of the card.
