Have your ELF a Merry Little Christmas

I am up on the Dare 2B Artzy company blog today with this card using the Naughty or Nice set.
Can you believe that Christmas is Saturday, only 4 days away? December seems like a blur to me.  I love making holiday cards and I am sad that soon I will not make as many. I will still continue to make them as I am on some challenge blogs that I have to make them for but I won't be making like at least one a day.

To create this card I started with a white side folding card base and a white panel in which I ink blended a background using Kitsch Flamingo, Wilted Violet, Salvaged Patina and Prize ribbon.

I stamped the images from the Naughty or Nice set along with one of the presents from the Penguin Plunge set, colored them using alcohol markers and then cut them out with the coordinating dies. I stamped the north pole sign directly on the panel and masked it off before I created the background.

I added all of the cut out images to the panel, I also added a string for her to pull the sled and to finish the card I added some falling snow to the entire card and added some snow to the north pole sign.

More Christmas Tags

Todays tag is another snowflake tag using a snowflake set by Brutus Monroe. I put up several trees each year and these tags are for the gifts underneath my snow themed tree so they are perfect.
This tag is super easy to make, simply cut out your tag using kraft cardstock and then using a snowflake set emboss the snowflakes in white. To  help me center the sentiment, I used the New Mis-T ruler.

25 days of Christmas Inspiration

Happy Wednesday!

This post is a twofer meaning that it cover two things, one being this weeks challenge at Make The Cards Challenge of Use a background stamp and ...

Today is day 1 of my holiday series, 25 days of Christmas Inspiration. I started this back in 2017 so that makes this my 5th year.
Christmas is one of my favorite times of year as we celebrate the birth of Jesus.
So over the next 25 days I will bring you some sort of Christmas inspiration
whether is be a card, tags, ornaments or whatever. I hope you will stop by each day my post should go live around 9am EST.

Now for the deets on this card.
This past weekend I attended the Holly Jolly Workshop with Concord & 9th so some of my projects will use those products.
To create this card, I started with a side folding white card base, a Sea Glass panel and some white cardstock.
I stamped the Woven Plaid background using Sea glass ink on the Sea Glass panel for a tone on tone background.
Next I die cut the "joy" out of white cardstock and the backer out of white glitter paper. I also cut out the flowers, leaves and other details out of Sea Glass, Stardust and Sorbet cardstock and then added them back in the negative spaces.
To finish the card I popped up the "Joy" and stamped the sentiment on a black strip of cardstock and embossed in white.

**The supplies in the holly jolly workshop are exclusive to the event but you could always use another large word die.   I have linked everything else below.

Peace

It's time for our monthly stencil challenge at Happy Little Stampers. Our challenge is always Anything Goes so no excuses.

To create my card I started with a white top folding card base and a white panel. I used the Elegant Snowflake stencil by A Colorful Life Designs and the new Tim Holtz color Villainous Potion, this is the prettiest color of purple!
I added a die cut for the sentiment, I cut them both out of white and then ink blended the word Peace with the Villainous Potion.

Merry Christmas Gnomie

It's time for a new CAS game at AAA Cards and we have a sketch for you.

There is also an optional twist of gnomes. Are you a lover of gnomes? They are so popular right now and I do like them as long as they aren't the creepy ones. Which ones are creepy? to mee if you can see their face like the garden gnomes they are creepy to me. I do love the ones where all you can see is their little noses, I think they are cute.
Now for my card. It was super simple to make. I started with a white top folding card base and used the Mistis to stamp Merry Christmas across the base. My gnome is a die cut by Simon Says Stamp cut out with patterned paper and different colors of cardstock, easy way to use up some scraps.
