Sending Sunshine July Edition

Today's first card (will have the Christmas one later tonight) is for a instagram hop that I participate in each month, Sending Sunshine.
This hop is one that came from the annual suicide awareness hop that we do.
For my card, I started with a white top folding A2 card base and a panel of water friendly heavystock. I used stamps from Impression Obsession stamps which  has since gone out of business (insert sad face, I miss them). To create the foral background I used a cling stamp and colored the image using water based markers and the spritzed it with water and stamped it on the heavystoc. To finish the card, I added the greeting.

Sending Sunshine - June Edition

Todays card is for the Instagram hop that I participate in monthly, Sending Sunshine Hop. This Hop is a spinoff for the yearly Suicide Awareness Hop.
We started doing a monthly hop because we all can use a little sunshine right?
This card is going to a friend who is a bright light in this world but doesn't believe it herself so I am sending this card to let her know how much beauty and kindness she brings to this world.
To make this card, I started with a white top folding A2 card base and a harbor panel cut to the same size. I used a die set and sentiment by Concord & 9th to finish the card.

Sending Sunshine May Edition

Today's card is for the Sending Sunshine instahop.
This hop was birthed out of the annual suicide awareness hop. Each month group of us crafty friends share encouraging cards that we send out to bring a little sunshine into the lives of others.
This one went to a friend of mine that needed to know how loved she is.
To make this card, I started with a white top folding A2 card base and a white panel. I used a stencil to create a backgound around the border of the panel. The floral wreath and coordinating die are by Penny Black. The sentiment is by Dare 2B Artzy.

To make this card, I started with a white to folding A2 crd base and a couple white panels. I used one with a subtle background behind the flowers and the other to create the floral image using a stamp and stencil by Pinkfresh Studio.

Sendng some sunshine

Today's card is for the Sending Sunshine ho over on Instagram.  A group of crafty friends join in this hop the second Friday of the month to send out a little sunshine to those who need some encouragement.
This hop resulted as a spinoff of a yearly hop that we do to help raise awareness to suicide.
To make this card, I started with a white top folding A2 card base and a separate piece of white cardstock for the image. I stamped the floral image, colored it using Copic markers and then cut it out with the coordinating die.  I added a background using a stencil and then stamped the greeting to finish the card.
