Beyond The Blue #81

It's time for another beyond The Blue Challenge.  We are just a group of friends who are enabled by Lydia aka Understand Blue and started a challenge blog to share some o the things we learned from her.

To make my card, I started with a top folding white card base, a panel of bristol vellum cardstock and a panel of Passion Flower cardstock.
I created a background using some reactive inks and a blower. I stamped the flowers, colored them using Copic markers and cut them out with the coordinating die.

A new challenge is up at Beyond the Blue, we are just a group of friends that started a challenge blog for fun. I hope you will play along.

For my card I started with a top folding white card base and a white panel.  I used two stencils to make this gel print.
The Happy Birthday by Waffle is my go to birthday sentiment. I have a container with several of them for quick cards.

Handmade Hugs

Welcome to Day 14 of my 14 Days of Valentines Inspiration. Today may be the last day of my series, but that doesn't mean you won't see another Valentine card before Valentines day because I love making them.

Today's card is also for the new challenge at Beyond The Blue because mail travels right?

To make my card I started with a top folding white card base and a white panel cut to the same size. I stamped the heart on the panel and colored it using alcohol markers.
I wanted to use this stamp set as the last day to remind myself to mail out all those heart cards I made.

A Halloween Hello

Happy Friday!

A new challenge is up at Beyond the Blue challenges. We are just a group of friends who follow our fearless leader, Lydia aka UnderstandBlue.
Our new challenge is to make a Halloween project or if you don't do halloween then use the colors Orange, Purple and Green.
I am not a halloween person like spooky halloween but I do like the fun of halloween and this little witch is so adorable.

To make my card I started with a top folding white card base and a Foil-it panel by Taylored Expressions. I foiled the panel with some sparkly orange foil and then ink blended over it with Carved Pumpkin distress ink.
I stamped the cute little witch from the Which way is the candy set by MFT and colored her with OLO markers.  This is an older set but I just love this little witch.
To finish the card I added an embossed greeting and kitty cat.

Retro

I am up on the Sweet 'n Sassy blog today sharing this card which also doubles for the current challenge at Beyond the Blue.

To make this card I started with a white top folding card base and a white panel. The white panel is what I created with a retro tool. Do you remember the paper crimper? That is what I used to create that panel.
I stamped a branch from the Botanical Branches set, colored it, then cut it out with the coordinating die and added it to the crimped panel.

Mix It Up

It's time for a new challenge at Beyond The Blue challenges. For this challenge we are mixing up the sentiments.

To make my card it was super simple because it is actually a coloring page that I got with my order from Honey Bee Stamps but you could also create it by using the sets that I linked below

Pretty in Pink

It's time for a new challenge at Beyond the Blue challenges and we are wanting you to play with embossing powder.
For my card I actually did double embossing.

To make my card I started with a top folding white card base and a white panel.
I used a 3D embossing folder from Altenew, ran it through the platinum 6 and then used a blending brush to blend the pink ink over it.
Next I stamped the happy birthday and embossed it with gold powder and added it to the panel.

Beyond The Blue - Gel Press

It's time for a new challenge at Beyond The Blue. Our challenge for the next two weeks is to get out that gel plate and have fun!
I love to gel print and I don't do it enough, mainly because I have to pretty much have a clean desk and that rarely happens.
I do have lots of prints on hand because when I do get to use my gel plate I spend hours and lots of paper having fun!

To create this card I started with a white top folding card base and a print from my stash that I cut dow to 3 3/4 x 5.
I added this large birthday greeting and a few sequins t finish a quic and easy card.
