Happy Heart Day!

Happy Valentines Day and welcome to the last day of my 14 days of valentines inspiration. I hope you have enjoyed series as I plan to continue to do a inspiration series around all the holidays you would make cards for.

Today's card is also for the new challenge at Addicted to Stamps & More. To make my card I  started with a white top folding car base and a piece of polka dot patterned paper by Lawn Fawn. This card was easy to make using the Layers of Love bundle by Concord & 9th, all I did was diet the stitched panel and stamp the greeting underneath.

Partner in Crime

Welcome to Day 13 of my series 14 days of Valentines Inspiration. Can you believe February is almost half way over? 

Today's card using a new set by Hero Arts, a cute set at that! Love this little raccoon. To make my card which is actually the hubs valentines card, I started with a white card base, speaking of white did you see Shawn White's gold medal run tonight wow! one of the reason's I am posting so late is the winter olympics I love watching them. Oh back to my card. I stamped the image on a white panel cut down with a stitched die and masked it off to make the background behind the little guy. After making the background, I removed the mask and colored the image using Copic markers. To finish the card I added the little speech bubble. 

Cacti Love

Welcome to day 12 of my 14 day series of Valentines Inspiration.

Today's card uses a fun set, Stuck on You by my favorite company Concord & 9th and is also for their challenge of Watercolor 

To make my card I started with a top folding card base, the Mini MISTI and a piece of watercolor paper cut down with a postage stamp die by Simon Says Stamp. Any time I stamp on watercolor paper I use the MISTI stamping tool because of the texture, it also helps me to along up the images as well.

I stamped the image using different colors of distress inks and then watercolored it with a water brush by Nuvo. The pot was stamped with Rusty Hinge, the cacti with Mowed Lawn, the sign with Pumice Stone and of course Candied Apple for the heart. 

This set is so versatile and is a must have for your collection

Welcome to Day 11 of my 14 days of Valentines Inspiration 

 

My card for today is super super simple. I started with a Berry Burst top folding card base and a white panel. I used several different styles of Washington tape and covered the entire piece of white cardstock and then ran it through the big shot with a stitched die. Next I used the Heart & Love dies by Concord & 9th and cut out the word love in gold foil for the focal point.

Valentine Wishes

Welcome to day 9 of my Valentines Inspiration series. I hope you are enjoying this series and getting lots of inspiration for your own cards. 

Today's card uses a fabulous valentine stamp by My Favorite Things. It is a stand alone greeting and I love the font. To make this super simple card in less than 5 minutes I started with a Powder Pink top folding card base and a small white panel cut down with a stitched die. After stamping the greeting I stamped the three hearts with Versamark ink and then embossed in gold to match the panel underneath which uses some gorgeous valentines paper by Stampin Up. 

Half Way There

Happy Wednesday and welcome to day 7 of my 14 days of valentine inspiration. We are half way done, valentines day will be here soon, have you started your valentines cards? or do you send cards? If you do I hope you are able to draw some inspiration from my series.

Today's card uses some products fro the Love is in the Air Stamp of Approval kit by Catherine Pooler and a plaid stamp from her everyday collection.  I love this new ink color that came with the kit, it is the perfect pink for valentines day.

To make my card I started with a top folding white card base and a panel cut down using the Postage Stamp dies that were also included in the kit. I stamped the Plaid background ad the cut it out with a die from the Postage Stamp dies. 

after I put the two panels together I added the "love" word die which was also in the kit and stamped the "you" from another stamp set included in the kit. This kit as you can tell was awesome! 

Conversation Hearts

Hi there and welcome to Day 5 of my 14 days of Valentines inspiration series. 

Today I used a stamp by Lawn Fawn from their How you Bean series. The original stamp os a jar with jelly beans and then they have add-ons like candy corn for fall and now conversation hearts for Valentines

All you need is Love

Welcome to day 4 of my 14 day valentine series.

Today's card is also for a new challenge at AAA Cards sponsored by Uniko and the winner will be able to choose an in stock stamp set. 

To make my card I started with a top folding white card base and the Love You So bundle by Concord & 9th. I stamped the polkadot background and then used the coordinating die from the bundle to cut out the letters. I attached them to the from of the card with foam tape and then added the greeting to finish the card.

Happy Little Stampers February Challenge

Hello and welcome to day 3 of my 14 days of valentines inspiration series.

Today also starts the February CAS challenge over at Happy Little Stampers as well. I hop you will play along.

To make my card I started with a white top folding card base and another set you can earn free by placing a $50 order with Stampin Up. You can follow the link on my sidebar to my Stampin Up business website.

The set I used, Party Pandas is actually a birthday set and comes with a regular balloon instead of the heart one, because this was a valentines card I used the heart from the set Lots of Love from the annual catalog and stamped it in Real Red.

Joy Clair February Challenge

Happy February!  Today starts my 14 days of Love Inspiration Series 

Today's card is for the February challenge  "Month of Love" at Joy Clair stamps we have given you an inspiration board but of course as always our challenges are anything Goes.

To make my card I starter with a white top folding card base and one of the new release sets, Call on the Lord although this is in our bible journaling series, I wanted to sho that you could make a valentines card by pairing it with an everyday set, Hello Sentiments. I created a fun shaker card by stamping the phone booth on a separate piece of paper and cutting it out.
