Love You More

Today starts a new Stay Crafty challenge at A Blog Named Hero. Upload your project using Hero Arts products for a chance to win one of two $50 gift cards to the shop to be given away at the end of the challenge.

To make my card, I started with a white top folding A2 card base and a piece of watercolor paper.
I created a background using the smooshing technique with reactive ink then stamped some texture and used some hero wax and embossing powder to create more texture.
To finish the card, I added the love die cut and the sentiment.

Hot Summer

It's time for a new challenge at A Little Bit of Rainbow challenges formerly known as Beyond the Blue challenges.
You can interpret this challenge in several ways, heat embossing, summer image, or hot colors as I did. There are probably more ways to interpret it as well.

To make my card I started with a white top folding A2 card base, a black panel and a white panel.  To create the background I used some acrylic paint and a scraper. pretty cool huh?
I love to dabble in Mixed Media but I probably dabble in it more than I realize because the definition of mixed media is to use two different mediums and I do that on a lot of my cards. This card is what most people think of when they hear mixed media.
The sentiment and image are from the April MMH kit I have linked below. This is a great kit and there are a ton of dies especially if you get the premium kit which is still available.

Imagination with So Suzy

Happy Thursday!
I am up on the So Suzy Stamps blog today with this card featuring the stamp Imagination. This is only one of the many fabulous quotes you can find at So Suzy Stamps.

To make my card I started with a Pool Party A2 card base and a white panel for the front. I placed the stencil over the panel and taped it down with some painters tape. I used several different colors of distress inks and brushed them on with Clarity Stencil Brushes. Next I used the MISTI to center my greeting and then spread little Bo Bunny glitter paste over the stenciled area, leaving the middle where I am going to stamp my greeting clean. The MISTI made it so much easier to over stamp to make my greeting crisp as you can see below

Creative Worship

Last week we announced our exciting new brand, Creative Worship Bible journaling stamps! Today we are thrilled to offer you our very first Bible journaling kit available while supplies last!
The design team has teamed up to bring you a blog hop using these stamps in many different ways, cards, bookmarks and of course Bible journaling.

I got a new Journaling Bible for Christmas so I chose to do some journaling in it

The first  page uses the newest sets from the Lovin' God's word Journaling kit,  Decorative Banners and His Book and a couple older sets  Message of Hope and Worship the Lord (currently out of stock). I used some colored pencils to color the images and then added some pan pastels as well.

The second page uses the Decorative Banners and His Book, along with Worship The Lord (out of stock) and Message of Hope again. This time I stamped the holy with colored ink and then watercolored the others. I added the handwritten "almighty". I used a stencil and some Pan Pastels for my background.

Do you Bible journal or want to start? You should join our new Facebook Creative Worship Bible Journaling for ideas and inspiration.

I am excited about this new line of stamps, here are the ones I used on my pages

Make sure to stop by the all the DT members blogs to get some gorgeous inspiration!

A Little Birdie

Today I am playing with some Stamps of Life sets, love last month's club set birdcage2stamp , along with the matching Birdcage Die, look how intricate it is! I just love it!
To make my card I did a watercolor wash as my background and then cut the birdcage out of gold foil paper, love how it turned out! The little birdie I colored with Copic markers and then diecut.

I am entering this one at Addicted to CAS
and of course the Birthday extravaganza at AAA Cards

!4 Days of Valentines Inspiration ~ Day 10

Welcome to day 10 of my 14 days of valentines Inspiration. For todays card, I got a little messy with some distress paints, an embossing folder, gold embossing powder and some Heidi Swap gold color shine. To make my card I started with some Watercolor paper and an embossing folder. I painted the embossing folder with Picked Raspberries and Festive Berries distress paints, and then sprayed it with a mister filled with water, placed my panel on top and just rubbed with my fingers, next I spritzed it with some gold color shine.
After my card from dried, I cut out the heart (CAS-ual Fridays) and made a shaker with the negative space. I stamped my greeting from the Snuggles & Smooches set in versamark and embossed it with gold embossing powder. Next I cut a gold mat slightly smaller than my card base and attached it to my shaker panel and then to the card base.
I am entering this one in a few challenges

Mixed Media Doll

I haven't played with a Prima doll in a while and when I saw the challenge of Pink & Girly at Loves Rubberstamps,  I knew exactly what I wanted to use for this and the Mixed Media Monthly challenge.
I had this cute new doll Chiara that I hadn't inked up, perfect for the MMM challenge.
I started with a watercolor paper tag and a chevron stencil, I sprayed some Maya Road Cotton Candy mist and while it was wet used a brush to soften it up just a bit.  I also used some Gesso and a doily stencil by Christy Tomlinson, to give it more texture.
For the doll I paper pieced her clothes and colored her with Copic markers. I added a little tulle at the bottom of her skirt, some sequins on her shoes and a rhinestone necklace to dress her up a bit
