Cozy Fall

I am back with another card for the current StayCrafty challenge of Mellow Yellow. To play along with us for a chance to win a $50 gift card to the shop, upload your project using at least one Hero Arts product over on the Hero Arts blog.

To make this card, I started with a white top folding A2 card base and a white panel. I used the Fairy Tale Forest Layering Stencil, a couple acorns from the Autumn Leaves Fancy dies and the sentiment from the Pick of the Patch Stamp & Cut. 

Mellow Yellow

Today starts a new monthly challenge at A Blog Named Hero. mOur theme for the month of October is Mellow Yellow. Use yellow on your project.

For my card I started with a white top folding A2 card base and a white panel. From the white panel I cut the Apple Frame die and then colored it with the Coloring Stencils. The sentiment is from the You're Golden Stamp & Cut. 

 

Staying Crafty with Hero Arts

I am back with another card for the current challenge of Splish Splash (use water or a water technique on your project) over on A Blog Named Hero. There is still a couple more days to play along with us for a chance to win a $50 gift card to the shop. You can enter until August 31st. 

To make this card I started with a white top folding card base and a white panel. I stamped the Inverse Bubbles background stamp with Aquatic ink. I used the Autumn Leaves Fancy die and cut them out of bristol cardstock. Next I ink blended the leaves and acorn using distress inks and then spritzed them with water. 

The Thankful for you is from the Pumpkin Bunch stamp set, I embossed it and then fussy cut it out. 

Stay Crafty Challenge August Edition

Today starts the August #staycrafty challenge over on A Blog Named Hero. This month's theme is Splish Splash which means use a water image or technique. 

I think I have them both covered because snow is made out of water and then just in case there was a disagreement I used Reactive Glitz inks and spritzed with water.

To make this card, I started with a white top folding card base and a panel of Bristol cardstock.  First I stamped the Kaleidoscope snowflakes in watermark ink and embossed it with white powder. I swiped the Reactive Glitz ink across the panel and then spritzed it with water. 

I cut out the Peeking Penguin colored him and added him to the side. To finish the card, I used the Christmas Words die. 

Stay Crafty June Challenge

Today starts our June Stay Crafty challenge at A Blog Named Hero.

Our theme for the month of June is "Saturday in the Park" create a picnic or July 4th themed card. By picnic it could mean anything you see while on a picnic also.

To make my card, I used the Fireworks cling background stamp and the celebrate die from the Birthday XL Stamp & Cut.

May Stay Crafty Challenge

Today's starts our May StayCrafty challenge and theme is Can't Take My Eyes Of Of You.. which means create a project with eyes, Easy Peasy.

To make my card, I started with a white top folding A2 card base and a sheet of watercolor paper. I cut the floral panel and the bird out of watercolor paper using the Branches and Blossoms die set and the watercolored them both using Daniel Smith watercolor paints. The greeting is from the With Sympathy set. 

Deck the Halls

I am back another post for our #Staycrafty challenge at A Blog Named Hero.  Our theme this month is Deck The Hall. I am decking it with Mistletoe and Holly.

To make my card, I started with a white top folding A2 card base and a panel of white Heavystock. I used the Holiday Foliage stencil and some glitter paste to create the background and then cut out some mistletoe and holly using the Stamp & Cut XL Winter Foliage and Holly Berries. The greeting is from the Holly Berries Stamp & cut. 

I added a close up photo so you could see the background.

Deck The Halls

Today starts a new Stay Crafty challenge with A Blog Named Hero. It's December so that means I am in full Christmas mode. I don't know about you but to me it feels like Christmas was just last week and here we are again. 

Our challenge is Deck the Hall.

To make my card, I started with a white top folding A2 card base, a black panel and a white panel for the focal point/front.

I used the color layering Snowflakes stencil along with inks in blues and purple to create the background. The sentiment is from a Hero Studio kit.

You will want to play along with us for a chance to win one of two $50 gift codes to the shop that wll be given away at the end of the challenge. All you have to do is load your project using at least one product by Hero Arts to the blog.

We are Family

Today starts a new Stay Crafty Challenge with Hero Arts

This challenge is going to be easy – we want to see any card you would make for a family member! It could be a birthday card, a thank you card, a sympathy card, a hello card – anything you like, as long as you would give it to someone in your family!

Thankful For You

I am back with another card for our current challenge "Thanks for the Memory". You can make a thank you card, or create a card based on a memory you share with the recipient of the card. You can make any kind of project, using any techniques, as long as it fits the theme in some way.

August Stay Crafty Challenge

I am back with another card for our current #staycrafty challenge of Sugar, Sugar. 

My card is also my entry for episode 228 of craft Roulette. Here are the parameters.

To make my card, I started with a white top folding A2 card base and a white A2 panel. I used a square stencil to ink blend the square (project) and then stamped the floral image over it. I stamped the bee, colored it using an OLO marker (Random) and then cut him out with the coordinating die. I used yellow (Colors) to color the bee and the center of the flower. 

My card was inspired by the card that my friend Michelle Lupton made for our challenge at the beginning of the month.
