14 Days Of Valentines Inspiration ~ Day 14

Happy Valentines Day! 

Welcome to day 14 of my 14 days of Valentines Inspiration, I can't believe it's over already. I hope you have been inspired. Today's card uses a Sweet 'n Sassy set, Valentine Critters. This is such a cute set and it doesn't just have to be for valentines, you can also make the cutest baby cards with these critters. Because it is Valentine Day today I chose to make a valentine card using the cute bear image.  

This was a quick and easy card to make I just cut a panel out of design paper and layered it on my white card base. Next I stamped the image and colored it up with Copic markers. I added a little banner at the bottom and three little hearts to finish it off.

Still Lovin' Hearts

Other than Christmas, Valentine's day is my favorite holiday to make cards for, so I am not quite ready to stop making cards with hearts on them. This card could be used for anniversarys as well as weddings or just to say I love you.

I used a memory box die and some glitter paper and sentiment from Impression Obsession  

Bold Love Language

I am entering this one in this weeks CASology challenge 

With Valentines day being tomorrow I just had to make another valentine's card. 

I used a new set from the Stampin Up  Occasions mini "Language Of Love" (ask me how to get yours) For  my bold background I used a sweetheart treat bag also from Stampin Up

This card was super simple to make but makes a big statement. I used the set Cupids Arrows and the matching Fri-dies Heart Board from CAS-ual Fridays. The embossing folder is from Darice. You can find all these supplies and more at A Scrap N Place.

For my card I used a stamp Cupid's Arrows and Fri Die Heart Board along with this beautiful Authentique paper. To make my shaker heart, I cut my heart out and added some acetate behind it with foam tape, then added sequins.

I Heart Glitter

Hi there and Happy Sunday! It's my day to share a project using supplies you can find at A Scrap N Place. I made this clean and simple card with all these glittery hearts by using a die from Impression Obsession and some pink glitter paper.

Happy Heart Day

I just can't get enough of this new set Valentine Critters. The images make the cutest Valentine cards for all ages. to make my card, I ran my design paper thru an embossing folder with hearts on it and colored up the sweet elephant with my Copic markers then added a die cut heart above "heart" to finish it off.

Carrying on with my valentine's card this one is for my sweets. I made it for a few challenges. The friday Free4All challenge (F4A155) over at SplitCoast Stampers is a color challenge of blue and Brown one of my favorite color combinations. 

CAS-ual Fridays challenge (CFC89) is Love Song. I was inspired by the song I will always love you by Whitney Houston.

CAS Four In One

 

Other than Christmas, Valentines is one of my favorite holidays. I love making cards for Valentines day.  So I am continuing on with Valentines projects right up until Valentines day.

I was looking at some of my favorite challenge blogs CAS of course and I found four that I could make a Valentine card for so I started with a sketch challenge on CAS(E) This Sketch.

 

Found a brand new CAS challenge CAS On Sunday and their first challenge is Be Mine Valentine. 

Over on CAS-ual Fridays the challenge is Love Letters and the code word on Addicted To CAS is Heart.

I used a sentiment from a Sweet 'n Sassy set Cocoa's Heart and a die from their Heart Dies.

7 Days of Valentines Projects ~ Day 7

 

 
Welcome to Day 7 of The 7 Days of Valentine Projects Blog Event. It's hard to believe our second Holiday Projects event is already over! We had so much fun and I hope you have enjoyed checking out all the fun Valentine Projects. If you missed any along the way, you check most of the out in one place on our new Pinterest board. There is a new challenge over at Splitcoast Stampers called Mix-Ability. The first challenge was to use two different mediums with a different finish on your card - one medium needs to be shiny, and one needs to be matte. 

To make my card I painted my piece of design paper with acrylic paint to give me the matte finish. Next I stamped the background with Versamark ink and embossed it with pink embossing powder, this gave me my shiny finish. To give it some more depth I sponged around the edges with Gathered twigs distress ink.  It was a fun challenge and I love the way it turned out.
