Only Die Cuts

Happy Sunday!
It's tie for another challenge at AAA Cards and our sponsor this tie is STAMPlorations.

My card is super simple because there is no stamping involved.
I started with a white top folding card base, a panel of Berry Burst and a white panel cut down with a stitched die. Using the Heart Breeze die by Simon Says Stamp I cut the hearts out of the white panel and attached it to the Berry Burst panel and then attached it to the card base. To finish the card I added the love greeting using a word die by Papertrey Ink

Bushel and a Peck

Todays card has double duty, I made this one for the Clean and Simple Genius My Favorite Things Card Design Superstar and also for the new challenge  of Clean & Simple at Addicted to Stamps & More.

To make this card I started with a top folding note card and a white panel cut down with a Blueprints stitched die, I used the Square Peek-a-Boo Window die and instead of cutting it, I used a mat and embossed it.  The set I used is Harvest Mouse, I stamped the bucket of apples inside the window and colored it with Chameleon markers. This is my second entry for the Card Design Superstar, this one is for the Clean & Simple category.

Vintage

Not my usual style but I wanted to try my hand at vintage for the challenge over at

To make my card I created a background by sponging Vintage Photo distress oxide ink on a piece of bristol paper, then randomly stamped the floral image from the set Parisian Postcard by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps in the same ink color.
I stamped the Eiffel Tower in versa mark ink and embossed it with Brutus Monroe Gilded embossing powder.  The next step was to spritz it with water to get the ink to react. To finish the card I stamped the two butterflies in Broken China distress oxide and the greeting from the Mason Jar Bouquet also by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps.

Today is the Day

Happy Saturday!
It's time for a new challenge at Addicted to CAS, our sponsor is Stamplorations and they are offering a $10 voucher to the store.

You know what is finally here? Today I am taking two classes with Sandy Allnock..Squee! I am over the top excited and can't wait to finally meet her in real life.
Now for the deets on my card, I started with a white card base and a white panel cut with a stitched die from Lil' Inker Designs. I used a heart stencil from Memory Box and some distress inks for the background. The sweet image and greeting are from the Happy Together set from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps. To get the silhouette image so crisp I always use the MISTI, I truly don't know how I stamped without it before, yes I do, I threw away a lot of paper from where I cud mess up.

Whether you are a card maker or bible journaler this set is a must have and it can be ordered as a bundle with matching dies!

To make my card I used a flower from the Scribble Flowers set and embossed it in Gold embossing powder, next I masked off the flowers with liquid masking fluid and watercolored my background. For the greeting I used the Happy Anniversary from the set Celebrating Milestones.

It's getting there

My room is getting closer to the being done, my walls are almost painted and some things are already up on the wall that is painted. As I am getting things organized I am finding things I that I bought awhile back like this cute stamp from Wplus9, Wishing You. It's such a cute set and I needed an anniversary
card.
I used Zig Clean Color watercolor brushes to color the bunnies and the grass.
I am also entering this one in the watercolor challenge at Happy Little Stampers for March, nothing like waiting to the last minute or hour :)

Here it is....

I know you have waited all day on this post for The Stamps of Life. I got so many goodies in my kit that I created things that I cannot show you yet because they haven't been released so...
You will have to check back on the 15th

This Charming flip it card set I could go ahead and use, it makes a cute anniversary or valentines card you can decorate only one side or both as I did.
I also used a new paper pack  (Love Story) that Stephanie released the first of this month
