Christmas in July - Day 21

Today starts a new challenge at Addicted to CAS & More and it's our Christmas challenge and it's also day 21 of the Christmas in July hop over on Instagram. The theme for today is Peppermint Party.  I chose to use blue for my candy canes but they are still peppermint.

To make this card, I started with a white top folding card base and a white panel cut down with an arched die. I cut out the candy canes and then used a stencil to color them.  to finish the card I added the holly and the joy word die.

Christmas In July - Day 7

Today's card serves two purposes, one for the Christmas in July Instagram hop where the theme is Festive Critters. I would say this moose is pretty festive.
The second purpose is for the Addicted to Stamps & More challenge 521 that started today.

To make this card, I started with a white top folding card base and a white panel cut to the same size.  I created a snowy backdrop by using post it notes to mask off the bottom portion of the panel as I ink blended some Wilted Violet and Salvaged Patina. I stamped the moose on a seperate piece of white cardstock , colored him using OLO markers and then cut him out with the coordinating die. I also cut three more of him and glued them together to add dimension.
