Christmas in July - Day 15

Todays theme is the Christmas in July hop is Merry & Bright. For some reason every time I have a theme of merry & bright I think snowflakes and snowflakes are white but snow is bright. have you ever walked outside when everything is covered in snow and you have to put on sunglasses because its so bright? So that is why I think snowflakes because it makes me merry and its bright.
To make this card, I started with a white top folding 2 card base and a white panel. I randomly stamped the snowflake in bright colors and then added some silver metallic snow in the background.

Christmas In July - Day 1

This year I am participating in a Christmas in July hop over on Instagram. Each day of July we will make a Christmas card using the daily theme. I will be sharing them here on my blog as well. The great thing about this hop is that at the end of the month I will have 31 Christmas cards already made.
Today's theme is Winter Wonderland. There is always a snowman in a winter wonderland so I used this super adorable snowman from Creative Worship Stamps. After I stamped and colored him I used a oval die from The Greetery to cut him out. I added snowflakes behind the oval panel that are also from The Greetery.
Hop over to Instagram and search #christmascards2026 to see more inspiration.

Sending Sunshine March Edition

Todays card is for another Instagram hop that I love to participate in and this one is pretty special. It's the Sending Sunshine which is a spinoff from the yearly suicide awareness hop that we do. There are so many people that just need a little pick me or hug so we send out cards at least once a month or more to let them know they are seen and loved.
To make this card, I started with a white top folding A2 card base and a panel of watercolor paper. I stamped the flowers with water friendly pigment ink and then loosely watercolored them using distress inks. To finish the card, I added the greeting and then splattered it using metallic watercolor paint.
The stamp sets I used are Victory Blooms and The Lord is Near by Creative Worship Stamps.

Happy Bird-day

Today's card is for the Stencil It instagram hop with Creative Worship Stamps. This is a hop filled with lots of inspiration and ideas for using stencils on your projects.
The number one way I like to use stencils is to create a soft background behind an image, if you follow me you know this.

To create this card, I started with a white top folding card base, a stencil, and a piece of white cardstock for the images.
I stamped the birds on a separate piece of white cardstock, colored them and cut them out with the coordinating die.
I placed the stencil directly on the card base and ink blended through it with Savaged Patina and Wilted Violet distress inks. I stamped the greeting and then placed the birds popping them up with foam tape. To finish the card I added a little bling using some sequins.
