Thankful

It's time for a new challenge  at Make The Cards Challenge. We have another them challenge for you of Thankful, get out all those fall, thanksgiving, grateful and thanks sets and play along with us.
To make my card I started with a top folding white card base and a white panel.  randomly stamped the thanks leaves in different colors coving the panel, next I used a small blending brush and added the same color to the leaf that it was stamped in. I also added some solid leaves stamped in different colors for interest and to fine the card I added a greeting from the same set.

BTS

We have a new challenge up at Make The Cards challenges. With school starting back across the country our challenge is all about school.

To make my card I started with a white top folding card base and a kraft panel.
On the kraft panel I randomly stamped some of the images from the Back To School set to create a background. From that same set I stamped the school, colored it and cut it out to add to the card front. I used a white scallop frame to add some interest.

MTCC #61 - A Color Challenge

We have a new challenge up at Make The Cards Challenge. Our challenge for the next two weeks is a color challenge.

The moment I saw these colors I knew what stamp set I wanted to use.
To make my card I started with a top folding white card base, a white panel and another piece of white cardstock for the image.
I stamped the floral image and then used the coordinating stencils to color it using distress inks. After I got it all colored then I used the coordinating die to cut it out. I used a cover die for the background of the panel and the sentiment is from that same set.

The Blues

It's time for a new challenge at Make The Cards Challenge and it's a color challenge. I have to admit when I saw this challenge my mind went to singing "I guess that's why thy call it the blues"

To make this card I started with a top folding white card base and a white panel. I used a cover plate for the background and cut the coneflower out of patterned paper and added a little more blue on the top layer. The stem I drew using a Copic marker.

Make The Cards 56 - Masculine

Happy June!
It's time for a new challenge at Make The Cards Challenge, Our challenge is theme challenge of Masculine.

With father's Day around the corner I was going to make a Father's Day card and then I was prompted to make a birthday card. I am trying to build up my birthday card stash but as I am typing this out I realize that today June 1st is my brother in laws birthday. He was like a brother to me, the best I could ask for and he passed away in 2019. Coincidence that I changed my mind to make a birthday card? A birthday card in blue which is his favorite color, with the stars and heavens on it? I think not.
Happy Birthday in heaven Jerry!

MTCC #54 - A Sketch

It's time for a new challenge at Make The Cards Challenges and we have a sketch for you.  I have to admit this sketch was a little challenging for me being a clean and simple stamper.  As you can see it is not followed down to the fine details but close enough to follow the main idea of the sketch.

To create my card I started with a top folding white card base and some retired but too gorgeous not to use patterned paper by Trinity Stamps. The stamp set I used is also by Trinity Stamps but also retired. It was a kit and I still love it..
The sentiment is from Sweet 'n Sassy stamps.
I have linked all the products I could below.

Encourage One Another

Our first challenge of the new year is live. And we are looking for encouragement cards. I hope you play along and if you do please mail your cards.  I don't really make new years resolutions but I do set some goals of things I want to improve on and actually mailing cards out is one of my goals this year.

To create this card I started with a top folding white card base, a white panel and another scrap of white cardstock for the image. I used layering stencils by Pinkfresh studio to create this gorgeous floral image. The background was created with the Tilted Plaid stencil by Erin Lee Creative and some Salvaged Patina distress ink.
The greeting is by The Ton Stamps.
