Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas to those who celebrate the birth of our risen savior.

I am up on the Crafty Meraki blog today sharing two cards to stretch your supplies.

I used one die three different ways 

the first way of course the normal way you would use it. The second way I used it as a stamp and the third way as a stencil.

For the top one, I started with a white top folding A2 card base and a white panel cut a quarter of an inch smaller. I cut the smaller Canopy Leaf die out of fun foam and used it as a stamp to create a background and then added the larger leaf as the focal point and a greeting from the Gilded Holiday Greetings EAP.

For the second card, I also started with a white top folding A2 card base and a white panel cut a quarter of an inch smaller. I cut two of the smaller Canopy Leaf dies out of black cardstock and placed them  together for the focal point. For the background I cut two of the smaller leafs and then used the negative piece as a stencil.

The greeting on this one is from the Gilded Greeting EAP.

Evergreen Elegance

Happy Monday!

Today I am up on the Crafty Meraki blog sharing this card. 

To make this card, I started with a white top folding card base and a white panel for the background.  To create this background I ink blended some Wilted Violet distress ink, spritzed the panel with water and then ink blended over it again with Wilted Violet, this gave me the dark purple splatters. I also used some pearlescent watercolors for the gold splatter. 

I stamped the Evergreen Elegance on a sheet of vellum with embossing ink, heat embossed it with white powder and then used the coordinating dies to cut them out.  I attached two of the pieces to the background panel using the Precision Glue Press and was able to put a fine line of glue on the back along the embossing and you can't see the glue. 

To finish the card, I added a ornament from the Jingle Jewels EAP.

I couldn't decide on a sentiment so I just left it off, not every card needs  sentiment right?

Day 11 - Peace

Its day 11 in my Christmas series and today's card is bought to you by Crafty Meraki.

For this card I used some older products mixed with some new, I started with a top folding white card base and the Blooming Noel EAP (new). The EAP is perfect when you don't have the time to sit down and color.

I paired it up with the Canopy Leaf dies.

A Little Sparkle

To make this card, I started with a white top folding A2 card base, a black panel and a white panel. I stamped the Jolly Holly background stamp on the white panel with embossing ink and then embossed it with some iridescent embossing powder and then ink blended over it.

Here is a close up of the iridescent embossing

To make this a quick and easy card, I added the Blooming Noel EAP popped up on the blended panel and added it to the black panel and then on the base.  To finish the card I added a  sentiment from the Guided Holiday Greetings EAP

Peaceful Christmas

I am up on the Crafty Meraki blog today sharing this card.

To make it, I started with a side folding white card base and a couple pieces of white cardstock.

 I stamped the Blooming Noel Poinsettia, colored it using OLO markers then cut it out with the Coordinating dies and did the sae with the Evergreen Elegance.

I finished the card with the sentiment.

Fuschia Christmas

I am up on the Crafty Meraki blog today sharing this tag. 

I had so much fun making this one as it is a mixed media tag.  To make this, I started with a white sheet of cardstock cut in half. I ued the Merry Tag die and cut out the itself. I then stamped the background on the tag and inkblended a little ink over it. I realy didn't like the outcome of the tine on tone so I placed it in my Misti and restamped it using a gold metallic ink. 

Next I cut out the "merry" 4 times and added some spray and gold hero wax to the top layer. I also added some gold hero wax along the edges of the tag itself. 

 

To finish the card I used the Gilded Holiday Greetings along with some foil for the sentiment.

Milk Carton Treat Holders

I am on the CutCardStock blog today sharing these cute milk carton treat holders. These were fun and easy to make and can be made t hold treats for any occasion.

To make these I used two pieces of  Granny Smith and Red Pepper  cut to 8.5 X 6 and then ran them through the diecutting machine with a die that makes these cute milk cartons. 

After I cut them out then I stamped each one with a background stamp so they will have a pattern to them. After I got them pieced together then I added a tag using Neenah Solar White and foil.

More Craftober with Crafty Meraki

To make this card, I started with a white top folding A2 card base and a white panel. I stamped the Under The Mistletoe with embossing ink and embossed it with white powder. Next, I cut out the poinsettias from the EAP pack and added them to the panel.  I added a foiled sentiment from the Gilded Holiday Greetings EAP. To finish the card I added a shaker pouch and sequins in red, gold and green.

Crafty Meraki Insta Hop and Giveaway

To make this card, I started with a white top folding card base and a white panel cut to the same size. I masked off the left portion of the panel and created a stip of ink blended background.

I used the Tis The Season EAP and foiled them using the glimmer machine with rainbow foil.
