Evergreen Elegance

Happy Monday!
Today I am up on the Crafty Meraki blog sharing this card.

To make this card, I started with a white top folding card base and a white panel for the background.  To create this background I ink blended some Wilted Violet distress ink, spritzed the panel with water and then ink blended over it again with Wilted Violet, this gave me the dark purple splatters. I also used some pearlescent watercolors for the gold splatter.

I stamped the Evergreen Elegance on a sheet of vellum with embossing ink, heat embossed it with white powder and then used the coordinating dies to cut them out.  I attached two of the pieces to the background panel using the Precision Glue Press and was able to put a fine line of glue on the back along the embossing and you can't see the glue.

To finish the card, I added a ornament from the Jingle Jewels EAP.

I couldn't decide on a sentiment so I just left it off, not every card needs  sentiment right?

Shine

Hello and welcome to day 8 of my Christmas series and it's time to Stay Crafty with A Blog Named Hero.

I had so much fun making this card for our new challenge of Shiny. To make this card, I started with a white top folding A2 card base and a panel of distress heavystock.

I sprayed the blue and purple spray from Hero Arts on my glass mat and smooshed the heavystock panel into it. After I achieved the look I wanted I used the Hot Foil Snowflakes and foiled them on the panel.

To finish the card I added a Run-on sentiment

Beauty of the Season

Hey there, crafty friends!
I am back with another card for the Christmas holidays.
This little snowman set is one of my favorites from Dare 2B Artzy.
To make this card I started with a white top folding A2 card base and a white panel.
I stamped, colored and cut out the snowman and trees from the Frosty Hello stamp set and coordinating dies.
I created a snowy background by masking off the bottom portion of the panel and ink blending and spritzing some White Iridescent Shimmer Mist by Hero Arts over the blended part.
To finish the card I added all the elements and popped up one of the trees using foam squares.

Winter Fun

Today starts a new challenge at Dare 2B Artzy of Winter fun.  Link up your project for a chance to win a $15 gift card to the shop.

To create this card I started with a white A2 card base and panel cut the same size as the A2 base.
I created the background by masking off the bottom of the panel for snow and then creating northern lights with inks. I stamped two of the birds from the Birds on Ice stamp set, colored them and cut them out using the coordinating dies.
To finish the card I popped them up and added some white accents with a gel pen.
The greeting is from the same set, the inside states "Happy Bird-day".
