CAS Insta Hop - September Edition

Today's card is for the CAS hop over on Instagram. Each month a group of makers get together and post a Clean & Simple card using a theme.The theme this month was Fall. I love this little fox from the Fall Foxes set by The Rabbit Hole Designs and I use it every chance I get.

Santa's Express

Today I am playing with the new Side Step Fun Fold Die by Dare 2B Artzy. I paired it up with another new release Santa's Express.  The merry Christmas sentiment is from the Peace & Joy set. The patterned paper I used is from the Teapots and Tiny Tales collection. I used a circle die to cut out the postage samp from the paper. 

Suicide Prevention Month

September is Suicide Awareness month and this card is for a hop I am participating in over on Instagram. 

I lost one of my older brothers to suicide back in 2019 so this cause holds a deep meaning for me. 

Today we begin our Suicide Prevention Week Card Hop with a simple message that every person deserves to hear:
You matter.
You don’t have to be a counselor or mental health professional to make a difference in someone’s life. Sometimes it begins with something much smaller — noticing someone, checking in, sending a message, listening, or simply reminding another person that they are important.
That is one reason handmade cards feel so meaningful to us. A card can say:
I see you.
I’m thinking about you.
I’m glad you’re here.
You matter to me.
Throughout this week, we’ll share cards, resources, and simple things all of us can learn about supporting one another and preventing suicide.

I lost one of my older brothers to suicide so this hits home with me and I want to raise awareness as much as I can.

Purple

Today starts a new challenge at Addicted to CAS, it's my turn to host and for this challenge and I chose the code word...

Purple is one of my favorite colors, the other is teal/aqua. 

To make this card, I started with a whit top folding A2 card base and a white panel. I heat embossed several times to make it a thick heat embossed image and then colored it using OLO markers.

The sentiment is by Waffle Flower. 

Celebrating Spellbinders September Edition

Today's card is for a hop over on Instagram celebrating Spellbinders. it's where a group of us get together and feature projects using Spellbinder products. No theme just as long as we use their products.

My card uses the Dumpster Fire stamp and die set. I have had this for a while, but haven't had a chance to use it. 

To make this card, I started with a white top folding A2 card base and some colored cardstock. I cut strips of the cardstock for the background and cut out the dumpster out of colored cardstock. I took some distress ink and added to the dumpster to give it a authentic look because I have never seen a clean dumpster. To finish the card, I added the sentiment.  

Addicted to Stamps & More No. 525

Today starts a new challenge aat Addicted to Stamps & More. It's time for our Diecuts and/or Stencils.

For my project I made a Christmas Tag using Diecuts and a Stencil. The products I used are from a Crop & Create holiday event. I love this cute snowman but then again they melt my heart. 

This tag is also for the Fan Club Christmas challenge at Splitcoaststampers.

AAA Cards - Game 322

Today starts a new game at AAA Cards. We have a theme for you, back to the 70s and 80s.

I had another set I was going to use with an Etch a Sketch but I could not find it so a cassette tape is the next best thing I could find that reminded me ot the 70s or 80s.

The cassette tape is a die set by Concord & 9th and the swirly stencil was in my stencil box but I am pretty sure it's by Dare 2B Artzy. 

Rediscover Your Supplies - August Edition

Today's card is for the Insta Hop, Rediscover Your Supplies. This hop encourages us to create with older supplies that we haven't used in a while or ever tucked away in our crafty spaces. My card uses a Create in Quads stencil by Taylored Expressions along with a balloon die and stamp set by The Stamp Market.

Full Steam into the Holidays

The holidays are quickly approaching, and we are in the process of moving so I am working on my holiday cards when I can. Dare 2B Artzy has some cute sets for the holiday season.

To make this card, I started with a top folding A2 card base, a white panel for the image and the snow and a panel of patterned paper for the snowy background. 

I stamped the image, colored it using Copic markers, cut it out with the coordinating dies and added it to the front.

Addicted to CAS 315- Anniversary

Today starts a new challenge at Addicted to CAS.  Nancy is our hostess and she chose code word...

I am in the process of packing amd moving so I could find a sentiment that actually said "Happy Anniversary" so I used the next best thing, it is definitely a special day. 

The stamp sets I used are by Hero Arts.
