ProCraftinators Club September Edition

Today's card is for the September edition of the ProCraftinators Club.
This hop consist of a group of crafty friends that have dusted off subscriptions kits, online classes, virtual retreats or other events we attended and have not started or have not finished.
This card uses some Gina K Designs products from the spring Cop & Create than I need to finish because the fall one is right around the corner.

988 Day

Today is a day that has become near to my heart. It's 988 day, what is that you may ask? 988 is the number you can call if you are depressed or having suicidal thoughts.  Help is only 3 numbers away.
The reason this because so dear and near to my heart is because back in 2019 I lost one of my older brothers to suicide. I would have never thought that the word suicide would become a reality. We had no clue that he would take his own life. It still hurts and always will that he felt that he could not talk to us or anyone.
Please please if you ever have those feelings make that call to 988 and get help. You matter and the world needs exactly who you are.

This week is Suicide prevention week and a group of crafty friends are hosting a hop over on Instagram to help raise awareness.

Here are the deets of my card, I started with a white top folding A2 card base and a white panel.  I used the Long Lines Leaves stamps set by Kristina Warner and the sentiment is fro Impression Obsession which is no longer in business but this stamp is a classic in my stash.

Stay Crafty With Hero Arts - September Edition

Today starts a new StayCrafty challenge at A Blog Named Hero.  Our theme for the month of September is Chasing the Clouds Away. To create a project using clouds in some way. It can be a actual cloud or you can create them like I did.

To create this card, I started with a white top folding A2 card base and a white panel for the images. I stamped the fence and the squirrel on the panel, colored them with Copic markers and cut them out with the coordinating dies. I added some foam tape to pop it up on the panel. To finish the card, I added the squirrel and butterfly and then stampd the greeting in the clouds.

Geometric

Today starts a new challenge at Addicted to CAS,  Vicki is our hosetess and she chose the code word..

This one made me think or a minute on what supplies I had to make this card. I knew I had a geometric stencil but I just used it a few days ago.
Looking through my supplies, I found this bee hive with is geometric.
To make this card, I started with a white top folding A2 card base, a piece of gold foil cardstock and a white panel.
I used the gold foil cardstock to cut out the beehive and also cut it again in the white panel and glued the gold over it. I stamped, colored and cut out the flower and bee then added them to the bottom corner.  To finish the card, I stamped the sentiment in the middle.
All products are by hero Arts.

Geometric Birthday

Today I am participating in the Rediscover your Supplies hop over on Instagram. There is a different theme used each month and this month was Geometric.
The premise of this hop is to find treasures hidden instead of buying new supplies. We are a group of crafters challenging other crafters to dig through your craft drawers, bins and shelves and rediscover what you have tucked away and forgotten. You may be surprised at what you have forgotten you had. If you would like to join us, hop on over to Instagram for all the deets.
To make this card, I stated with a white top folding A2 card base and a white panel. I used a layering stencil that I had forgotten that I had (I think it’s retired now)by Pinkfresh Studio. I used distress ink to sorta match the color palette used in the hop. After I finished the background I ran it through with a geometric embossing folder by Simon Says Stamp. The greeting I used is by Waffle Flower.

Addicted to Stamps & More #500 - Diecuts/Stencils

Today starts a new challenge at Addicted to Stamps & More. Our challenge is to use diecut and/or stencils, I used both for this holiday card.

To make this card, I started with a white top folding A2 card base and a Aqua Sky panel. I ran the panel through the die cut machine using the dashed snowflake cover plate and then ink blended some Blueprint Sketch around the outside. I used Postage Collage Snowman stencil and cut it apart to get individual pieces. I added the snowflake cluster cut out of glitter paper as the background and finished the card with an embossed sentiment.

All products are from Waffle Flower.
