AAA Cards 317 - A Sketch

Today starts a new game at AAA Cards. Game 317 is a sketch challenge which I love seeing the different takes on it. 

To make my card I started with a white top folding A2 card base and a white panel cut to the same size. I used a stencil from Gina K Designs that fit perfectly in the corner like the fireworks on the sketch. 

Addicted To CAS - 310 Frame

Today starts a new challenge at Addicted to CAS, Sue N is our host and she chose the code word ...

To make this card, I used the Birthday Postage stamps set by Pink & Main along with the coordinating dies. I colored the cute little turtle with OLO markers.

ProCRAFTinators Club Hop - June Edition & ATSM 519

Today's card is for two different purposes. First up its for challenge 519 over at Addicted to Stamps & More  where the challenge is of Any Occasion.

It's second purpose is for the ProCRAFTinators Club, a hop over on Instagram that I participate in each month. 

We dust off those monthly subscription kits, online classes, and camp boxes that we wnt to finish, start or recreate. We hop on the second Monday each month. 

This card uses products from this years  Spring Crop & Create. The class was taught by Jennifer McGuire using products from Pinkfresh Studio.

High Tide

Today starts a new game at AAA Cards. Game 316 is a 1+1 challenge and this is how you play. Use one of the outer circles with the inner circle which is summer. For my card, I used Beach. 

To make this card, I started with a white top folding card base and a white panel for the image. I stamped the mermaid, colored her using OLO markers and then cut her out with the coordinating die. I created the "beach"  by ink blending some Salty Ocean at the bottom of the card. 

May Your Day Sparkle

Today I am sharing a card using a couple sets by Dare 2B Artzy Thoughtful Greetings and the Clubhouse set Little Wonders.

To make this card I started with a white top folding A2 card base and a white panel. I stamped the flowers from the Little Wonders set along the edge, colored them using OLO markers and then stamped, colored and cut out a butterfly from that same set and added it to the floral border. 

To give it sparkle I added some bling and also added accents with a gold pen. 

I haven't had many posts this month because we are putting our home on the market and I have been usy decluttering for photos. I am hoping that next monthI can craft a little more. 

AAA Card Challenge NO. 315 - A Sketch Challenge

Today starts a new game at AAA Cards and it's a sketch challenge. 

To make this card, I used a stamp set by Trinity Stamps. I stamped the cat & the fiddle in the corner, colored it using OLO markes. I stamped the music noted around him and then added a subtle background using a stencil. 

Cube & Create May Edition

Today's card is for the Cube and Create hop over on Instagram. This is a hop where a group of us post a card inspired by Sarah Renee Clarks Color Cube. Two card are drawn from the cubes each month and we are to create a project inspired by one r both of them.

This month No. 033 and No. 556 were drawn from her new cubes (which is what I have) and my card was inspired by No. 556.

To create this card, I started with a white top folding A 2 card base and a white panel. I used the Petal Print stencil by Concord & 9th and the Defined set along with the coordinating dies also from Concord & 9th for he sentiment.

Postage Party May Edition

Today's card is for the Postage Party hop over on Instagram.  This hop is a group of friends who are addicted to and enjoy using postage themed products. each month there is a theme and this month was ink smooshing. 

To make this card, I started with the Postage Die by Waffle Flower and smooshed some Peacock Feathers and Twisted Citron distress inks over the panel. 

I used the Postage Collage Wildflower Silhouettes stamp set along with the Postage Collage Wild Butterflies Stamp set. I finished the card by stamping the sentiment from the Inside Sentiments Birthday 2 set. 

A Grad Card for Team Tuesday

I am up on the My Sweet Petunia blog today sharing this card. 

To make this card I started with a white card panel placed inside the Original MISTI and stamped the peony background using VersaMark ink and embossed it in gold powder.

Next, I placed the embossed panel on a Mini Sticky Mat and then placed it on the Petunia Platform and held it down with to Power Mags.  Let me tell ya, it didn’t move at all. (Tip: if you do not have the Petunia Platform just flip your MISTI over. The magnets will stick to the metal plate).  I used the layering stencils to color the flowers.

To finish the card, I cut the panel in a diagonal and then out the “2 & 6” using number dies by Hero Arts and adhered the to the panel.

 

Clean & Simple Insta Hop May Edition

Today's card is for the Clean & Simple hop over n Instagram. Each month a group of us participates using the theme for that month. This month was Floral and I couldn't help but to use this lovely daisy stamp from Dare 2B Artzy. To make this card, I started with a white top folding A2 card base.  I created a subtle background using a stencil. I stamped the daisy image on a piece of watercolor paper and watercolored it using distress re inkers. I cute it out with the coordinating die and added it to the card front. To finish the card I stamped the greeting on the card front as well.
