I am sharing two cards today. the first card uses the Wonder Woman stamp set.
To create this card I stamped the image on a white panel, colored it using alcohol markers and then masked it off to create the background, to do that I used blending brushes and distress inks.

I kept the rainbow theme going with my second sample. I created the background using distress inks and blending brushes. I used the Stay Golden stamp set, stamped the sentiment in black and added a black mat.

This release has some fabulous products. I will be back on Monday with more inspiration from it.

We are doing things a little different, there will be a new challenge bi weekly instead of weekly and this gives you more time to play along.
New challenge starts today

To create my card I started with a white top folding card base, and a white panel for the image.
I used the Big & Bold-Slimline Poinsettias even though my card isn't a slimline. I colored them using alcohol markers and added a greeting from that same set.

I am also up on the Sweet 'n Sassy blog with these handmade valentines.

To create these I cut thick white card stock into strips of 2 1/4 x 4 1/2 and used the MISTI to stamp the images and colored them using alcohol markers. To finish them I added some Crystalline to the hearts on each of them. I also added a little shimmer with Liquid Pixie Dust.

10 Days of Valentines Inspiration - Day 4

Welcome to Day 4 of my Valentines series.

Today's card is a quick and easy one that uses a stencil and die cut.
I started with a white top folding card base, a white panel and some scrap paper for die cutting. I cut out the Love die three times from white card stock and once from a ink blended piece and glued them together.
To create the background I used the Dancing Hearts stencil by A Colorful Life Designs (save 10% off your order by using my code Cealfan10) and distress inks in Picked Raspberry and Carved Pumpkin.
On a seperate piece of card stock I blended the distress inks and then cut out the Love to add to the top.

Snow

I am the hostess over at Addicted to CAS for the new challenge and when I chose Snow as I code word I had no idea it would be snowing. I love the snow as long as I can stay inside by the fire.

You can interpret the code word in many different ways, it can be SNOWman, SNOWflakes, Snow covered trees. I hope you will play along

To create my card I started with a white top folding card base and a white panel cut to the same size. I used the Snowy Trees stencil by A Colorful Life Designs.
(you can save 10% off your order by using my code CealFan10)
For the snowy drifts I just used a piece of torn paper.

Valentines Inspiration - Day 3

Hello and welcome to Day 3 of my series 10 days of Valentines Inspiration.
If you ave been following along with my series, you may have noticed the randomness of my posts. I am just posting when I get the chance. I am of posting my DT requirements first of course and then I am incorporating some of them like today.

Today's card uses a set by Erin Lee Creative.

To create my card I started with a top folding card base, a white panel, and a panel of sorbet cardstock.
I randomly stamped the heart from the Boho Rainbow set and them colored them using Graph-It alcohol markers. I love these markers because one end of them is a fineliner making it easy to color small images. I used the Love word die cut from the Sorbet card stock. To finish the card, I stamped a sentiment from the Striped Sentiments set and embossed it with white powder and then cut out the "you"

Picket Fence Studios Release Day 2

I am back with more release samples from the Picket Fence Studios January release.
Today I am sharing a couple slimline cards using the Slim Line Die Cutting System and some new Slimline dies that cover the front of your card.
My first sample above uses the Slim Line Tall Grass die, well I made into icicles. I had some backgrounds that I had created using the Gel Press along with the Winter Snowflakes, Lawanda and Lydia snowflake dies, so turning the grass into icicles was perfect. I used sme glitter paper to cut it out. The sentiment is from the Fancy Christmas Sentiments, cut out with the Coordinating dies.

My second sample uses the Slim Line Ocean Waves Cover Plate along with the Ocean of Fish stencil and the Things on The Sea Floor stamp set and Coordinating Dies.
I used the Slim Line Die Cutting System to cut my front and ink blended some distress inks and then used the Ocean of Fish Stencil over the blended ocean. I also ink blended the Ocean Waves Cover Plate. I stamped the ocean plants and colored them using Graph-it markers and cut them out using the Coordinating Dies. The sentiment is from the set A Bottomless Sea, I stamped it on a strip of vellum and embossed it with black embossing powder.

Valentines Inspiration - Day 2

Welcome to Day 2 of my series 10 Days of Valentine Inspiration.
I have another card from the Picket Fence release to share.

To Create this card I started with a top folding white card base and a white panel.
I used the Falling Hearts 4x4 seamless stamp to create the background. For the word "Love" I used the Seeing Double Alpha and then added the Always word die, both cut out of foil paper.  To finish the card I cut a heart out of vellum and then glued sequins from the Pink Lady mix to match the foiled words.

Picket Fence Studios Release Day!

It's release day at Picket Fence Studios and let me tell ya it's HUGE!
This release has 15 new stamp sets, 6 coordinating dies, 10 stand alone dies, 7 stencils, 3 new colors of Paper Glaze, 2 new sequin mixes, 3 gem mixes and 2 packages of slim line envelopes. WOW!

Today I am sharing some samples I created using some of the word dies, stencils and paper glaze.

For my first sample I started with a white top folding card base and a white panel. I stamped the Roses For All Seasons stamp which is a 4X4 seamless stamp that can be repeated to cover whatever size paper you have. I used the MISTI to help line it up and then colored it using alcohol markers. I used the Big Hugs word die along with it cutting the backer out in vellum and the word in foil. To finish the card I added some of the  clear gems from the  Day & Night Gem Mix

For my second sample, I also started with a white top folding card base and a white panel.  I used the Coffee Cup stencil and added the new Pink Carnation Paper Glaze. After it dried I used the Life Changing Blender Brushes along with the Coloring Book Stencil to create a background around the cups. To finish the card I used the For The Love Of Coffee word die and cut the backing out of vellum and the word out of foil and added it to the front.

For my third sample I created a slim line card using the Slim Line Die Cutting System. I started with a white card base and used the largest rectangle to to cut the card front out of Lavender card stock. I used the smaller rectangle to cut the focal panel out of white. I created a background by using the Life Changing Blender Brushes and the Slimline Broken Fence Stencil.  At one end of the card I added interest by using the circle with the fence from the SLDCS.  I stamped the Flowers from Que Sera Sera, colored them using alcohol markers and then cut them out with the Coordinating Dies. To finish the card I added the Happy Birthday word die by cutting the backing in lavender and the word in purple glitter paper.

I will be back with more posts of samples from this release so be sure to check back.
