Thanks A Melon

Can you believe that school is starting back already? seems like it gets earlier each year. Since summer is almost over I decided to make another watermelon card. I made this one for a couple challenges. The dare to get Dirty challenges over on Splitcoast Stampers and the CASology challenge of Juicy, because watermelon is definitely juicy and so yummy!

To make my card I started with a top folding white card base and some bristol paper because I have found that the distress oxide inks blend very well on this type paper.
I started by blending Lucky Clover at the bottom, then a strip of Twisted Citron and finishing it with Candy Apple, after i got it all the oxide inks blended out I used the Mini Scenery: Spotty stamp by Winnie & Walter. This stamp is the perfect watermelon stamp, don't you agree? To finish the card I cut the panel down with a stitched die by Lil Inker Designs and added the greeting from the Orange You Sweet set by Concord & 9th.

Hello

Happy Sunday!
We are back to start a new year of challenges at AAA Cards.  Our game is Hello and the sponsor for this challenge is Happy Little Stampers with a $15 gift certificate

For my card I used a new background stamp from Simon Says Stamp Circle Doodle, I stamped it in clear embossing powder and then colored each circle with Zig watercolor pens. The Hello die is from Winnie and Walter. I added both of them to a black top folding card base.

I am also entering this one in the challenge at Simon Says Monday

Freshly Made Sketches for another Birthday

My card share today is another birthday card since I am bringing back birthdays, or at least trying to. I done with my May birthdays and starting on June. To make my card I started with a Blushing Bride card base and added a panel of the Birthday Bouquet DSP. To follow the sketch I added a Tip Top Taupe strip down the left die and some washi tape with a strip of white glitter tape to the right side. For the greeting I used some Watermelon Wonder to cut out the Happy word die for Winnie & Walter and then embossed the word Birthday from the Number of Years set from Stampin Up with white embossing powder on a strip of Tip top Taupe.

I am entering this one at

To make my card I took the card front from the May Paper Pumpkin kit, and some Clarity Stencil brushes from So Suzie Stamps and brushed it with Cucumber Crush, Emerald Envy and Bermuda Bay over a piece of white cardstock. The happy die is from Winnie & Walter and the enamel dots are from My Minds Eye.

Casual Fridays Challenge Is Back

Happy Friday!
The card that I am sharing today was made for the challenge at CASual Fridays.   They have revamped their blog and are back with a new challenge every other Friday. This month is CAS-ual Fridays 5th birthday so they are celebrating all month long.

To make my card I stated with a strip of watercolor paper and some Mission Gold watercolors, I used the Happy die from Winnie & Walter and cut it out of the watercolored paper as well as thick white cardstock, next I placed the happy cut of of the white into the negative space from the watercolored. Check back on Sunday to see what I did with the watercolored happy. I took some Perfectly Plaid paper from Lawn Fawn and those Silly Stitched dies from Lil Inker Designs to make my card front. For the "Birthday" I embossed a birthday sentiment from Stampin Up with white powder on a black strip so it would stand out.

Lots of products from different companies but they came together nicely.
