Our Home To Yours

A new challenge is up at Addicted to Stamps & More.

To make my card I started with a top folding white card base and a white panel. I stamped the Pinecone background and colored it using Copic markers.
Next I cut the word topper out of black cardstock and to finish the card I added an embossed greeting in gold from the Christmas Pine set on the strip of the topper.

AAA 217

It's time for a new game at AAA Cards Challenge. Use one of 9 rectangles on your project with an option of using a butterfly.

To create my card I started with a top folding white card base, a white panel and a small piece of white cardstock.
I stamped the butterflies by Pinkfresh Studio, colored them using the coordinating stencil and cut them out with the coordinating die. This set has 9 different butterflies and they cut out separately yet all at the same time. I used one of the butterflies and added it on top of the postage stamp die by Gina K.
The sentiment is from the Faith Wordfetti by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps

Christmas Gnomes

I am up on the Sweet 'n Sassy blog today with this set of cards using the two Gnome sets, Gnome Winter and Christmas Gnome.  The Winter Gnome is from the October release and the Christmas Gnome was released last month but they both coordinate so well together. HERE are the two cards I made back in September using the Christmas Gnome set, I am adding these four for a set of six cards.

To create these cards I used white card bases and some patterned paper by Echo Park. I stamped all the gnomes, colored them using Copic markers and cut them out with rectangular dies. I have been challenging myself to use more patterned paper because I have so much and never use it.

Foiled Embellishments

I am up on the Rinea blog today with these two cards that I made for one of the Dare to Get Dirty challenges at Splitcoaststampers.
To create these cards, I started with a white top folding card bases, a couple white panels, some cardstock in Aqua Sky by Concord & 9th and Passionate Pink by Gina K Designs and some foiled paper by Rinea.
I randomly stamped the Rose from the True Beauty set by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps onto the white  to cover a third of the panel. Next using our Ghost ink I stamped the rose image onto some Turquoise foiled paper by Rinea, fussy cut it out and added some sturdy paper behind it to make it stronger.

I followed the same steps above for the second card just used a different color scheme and sentiment. I used the Lavender Foiled paper on this one.

You can save 10% on your order at Rinea by using my code

In This Together

I am up on the Sweet 'n Sassy blog today with these two card featuring a May release set, In This Together.  This is a set that we released in a digital version and it was so well loved that Korin made it into a stamp set. It has 19 stamps in it and sentiments that are perfect when you need to send an encouraging card and even has a mother's day greeting that I used on my card above.

To create these cards I started with white top folding card bases, black panels for the mat and another white panel for the image/focal panel.
The first card is simple I just stamped the image, colored it using Copic markers and added the greeting at the bottom.
For the second card below it was a little more time consuming but very relaxing. I stamped the floral image three times using the Original Misti, colored them using Copic markers and then created the background by coloring the entire background with BG13 and then putting some blending solution on a piece of terry cloth and randomly pressing it on the background.
To finish both cards I added some details with a white gel pen and a clear glitter pen.

Supplies are pictured below along with affiliate links with no additional cost to you but a small commission for me. thank you for your support!
