S'more Fun

I am calling it fall y'all! To me it's camping season when the weather is cooler so you can have a campfire and smores. No one wants a campfinre when it's hot.
To make this card I started with a piece of Sandy Beach cardstock cut 4.5 x 11 and used the Center Step card die to create the base.
the stampset I used is Campfire Friends by Dare 2B Artzy. I stamped the mages, colored them ad cut them out with the coordinating dies. For the girl squirrel I used the mirror technique so her marshmallow would also be facing the fire.

Sendng some sunshine

Today's card is for the Sending Sunshine ho over on Instagram.  A group of crafty friends join in this hop the second Friday of the month to send out a little sunshine to those who need some encouragement.
This hop resulted as a spinoff of a yearly hop that we do to help raise awareness to suicide.
To make this card, I started with a white top folding A2 card base and a separate piece of white cardstock for the image. I stamped the floral image, colored it using Copic markers and then cut it out with the coordinating die.  I added a background using a stencil and then stamped the greeting to finish the card.

Stay Crafty Challenge August Edition

Today starts the August #staycrafty challenge over on A Blog Named Hero. This month's theme is Splish Splash which means use a water image or technique.
I think I have them both covered because snow is made out of water and then just in case there was a disagreement I used Reactive Glitz inks and spritzed with water.

To make this card, I started with a white top folding card base and a panel of Bristol cardstock.  First I stamped the Kaleidoscope snowflakes in watermark ink and embossed it with white powder. I swiped the Reactive Glitz ink across the panel and then spritzed it with water.
I cut out the Peeking Penguin colored him and added him to the side. To finish the card, I used the Christmas Words die.

Game 296 - A Sketch

Today starts a new game at AAA Cards. Our challenge for the next fortnight is a sketch. I love sketches, I hope you do as well and will play along with us.

This sketch is a simple one and would be easy to mass produce. To make my card, I started with a white top folding A2 card base and a white panel cut to the same size. I didn't have an oval stencil so I made my own by using an oval die.  After blending the background I stamped the floral silhouette by Hero Arts and added the greeting also by Hero Arts.
Easy Peasy!

Seas The Day

Seas the day is exactly what we are doing. We are currently on an Alaskan cruise so I just had to make a card using one of the newest sets by Dare 2B Artzy, Set Sail. All my post are scheduled until we return and hopefully they are posting.

To make this card, I started with a white top folding A2 card base and a panel of Powder cardstock. I created a background paper by randomly stamping the anchor on the powder panel. I stamped the sailboat, colored it using OLO markers and cut it out with the coordinating die. I stamped the greeting and stacked it for dimension.

AAA Cards Game 295

Today starts a new game at AAA Cards. Our challenge is to create a Clean and Simple card using the middle circle and then add one from the outer four.

To make this card, I started with a white top folding A2 card base and a white panel. Out of the white panel I stamped, colored and cut out the watermelon dude, and also the circle that he is placed on.  To finish this quick and easy card, I added a sentiment underneath and some highlights to the little melon dude.
