Eureka Monthly Blog Hop ~ Weds and Grads

My card uses 18901(522) Large Cap and 5507 Congratulations. I colored my cap with Copic markers and paper pieced the diploma. I added some sparkle to the tassel and the seal on the diploma using my Spica glitter pen.

Blue Bonnets and Butterfly

 

It's DT day for Eureka Stamps. I fell in love with this stamp 21201 Butterfly and Bluebonnet. It makes a beautiful Sympathy, Thinking of You or Get Well card.

It's Eureka Day!

 For this card I used a background stamp 

 58501 Butterfly Background but only colored one butterfly to give it a more CAS look. Eureka had awesome wonderful stamps you could use to achieve this look.

This month we are all about Butterflies  and for my card I used 20801 Butterfly & Sunflower I stamped my image twice, colored it with my Copic markers and then stamped the image twice again and cut out the butterflies to pop them up on the card.

Eureka Stamps Dt Day

 

Today was/is my DT day for Eureka stamps, I got all busy with Easter preparation and totally forgot to post my card for Eureka Stamps. So here it is I used the stamp  21001 Hybiscus & Bee, pretty stamp huh? I colored it with my copic markers and added a little shimmer to the flower and bee's wings.

Mom's favorite

 

When I ran across this stamp, 21301 Iris  at Eureka, I just had to get it. Iris' were one of my Mom's favorite flowers. This beauty is fun to color and so versatile. You can use it for Mother's day, Birthday, Thinking of you and even Sympathy.

Today I am sharing some inspiration from Eureka Stamps.  I love this background Stamp  32401 Names Background and with Easter coming it makes a great Easter card. I stamped the entire image which is 4 X 4.75 but then used  a Spellbinders die and cut it to a smaller image, then sponged the entire image while it was still in the die. I then inked the edges to give it a more aged look. Added a border with my new border punch from EK Sucess and finished it off with some vintage ribbon.

Easter Is On It's Way

 

Easter is April 8th this year so not that far away. Time to order those Easter stamps and you can find some awesome ones at Eureka Stamps as well as QKR Stampede and Biblical Impressions.  For my card I used 

3503 Lamb in Egg from Eureka Stamps, along with some old Basic Grey design paper from my stash.
