WCMD with Gina K

World card making day was yesterday and I didn't even make the first card. I did get a chance to make a few today though. Gina's WCMD challenge on Stamp TV was  FAUX LAYERS, you may also know it s reverse masking. I love this technique, it gives a single layer card the appearance of another layer.  I used an image from Autumn Beauty by Teresa Momber and the sentiment is from Vintage Notes by Tami Mayberry.

Kaboodle Doodles #114 ~ New Life

Happy Monday!
I hope you had a blessed Easter yesterday. It's time for another Kabooble Doodles challenge and this week our challenge is New Life. That could mean anything from marriages to babies. As I reflected on the meaning of Easter this challenge came to mind and I just had to make this card. We all have New Life when we accept Jesus, the risen Lord to be our Savior.  What a way to welcome a new life huh?
Our sponsor this week is Digital Delights, to play along for a chance to win link your New Life creation to the Kaboodle Doodles challenge blog by Sunday April15th.
I know you have noticed this technique on a few of my cards lately, well I am in love with it, it's called reverse masking and its a new favorite!

Happy Birthday to my friend Korin, owner of Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps. I made her this girly card because she lives in a house full of testosterone and thought she could use a little pampering. Happy Birthday Korin, pamper yourself and have a wonderful day and weekend. Happy Easter!
hop over to her blog and wish her a happy birthday!
