Christmas in July - Day 10

It's Day 10 of the Christmas in July Instagram hop and the theme is Monochromatic.
To make this card, I started with a white top folding A2 card base, a tidepool panel and a piece of white cardstock for the image. I stamped the cocoa cup image by Pink & Main, colored it using OLO markers and cut it out with the coordinating die. I stamped the Hand Drawn Snowflakes background on the panel of tidepool using Tidepool ink for tone on tone.
To finish the card I added a greeting from an older Hero Arts set, Cozy Penguin.

Christmas In July - Day 3

The theme for day 3 of the Christmas in July insta hop is Candy Cane.  I immediately pulled the Joyful Holidays set by Pink & Main.  I love the candy cane image in this set.
To make this card, I started with a white top folding A2 card base and a white panel cut to the same size. I ran the panel through the die cutting machine using the Joyful Holidays 3D embossing folder and then ran it through with an oval die by Concord & 9th. I stamped the candy cane image on a seperate piece of white cardstock, colored it using OLO markers and cut it out with the coordinating die. To finish the card I used a gold metallic marker and went around the perimeter of the oval.

AAA Cards #307 - A Color Challenge

Today starts a new game at AAA Cards challenges.  Game 307 is a color challenge using the palette below. I hope you wll play along with us.

To make this card, I started with a white top folding A2 card base and a separate piece of white cardstock for the image. I stamped the Nutcracker  image, colored it using OLO markers and then cut it out with the coordinating die. I also cut two extra to stack behind to give the nutcracker dimension. Before placing the nut cracker on the base, I created a background using a stencil by Tim Holtz. To finish the card, I added a sentiment and adhered the Nutcracker in the background space.

ProCraftinators Club November Edition

Have you started your holiday card making yet? I have not, I have made a few here and there but nowhere near what I need. With postage being so high now I actually hand more out at church and to friends than I mail.
This one is for the ProCraftinators Club Instagram hop.
This hop is where a group of us crafty friends break out supplies from an in person or virtual event that we attended,  (or not attended but signed up for) a class or camp where we signed up but never made all the things (or any of them actually)
My card uses products from Pink & Main from there Holiday event last month, the class was taught by Mindy Eggan.
when I sign up, I have every intention of actually attending and making all the things and then Life happens.

25 Days of Christmas 2024 - Day 2

Welcome to Day 2 of my holiday series 25 Days of Christmas inspiration.  I am going to try my best to post fr 25 days straight something I made for the holidays.
Today it is a card using some older products from my stash to make this quick and easy card.
I started with a white top folding A2 card base and a white panel. I ink blended some blue ink on the top portion of the panel and then added die cut branches and an ornament die cut from some Pink and Main patterned paper that isn't meant to be Christmas paper but it makes beautiful ornaments. The sentiment is from a Simon Hurley set, Sketched Snowmen.

Addicted to Stamps & More #448 - Birthday

It's time for our birthday challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More.

To make this card I started with a white top folding A2 card base, a black panel and a panel of watercolor paper.
Using distress reinkers as watercolor I laid down color randomly on the panel of watercolor paper and thoroughly dried it. Next I ran it through the machine using a 3D embossing folder adding grey to the debossed side before I ran it through. The next step took a little time. Using a sharpie I colored all the areas that were not embossed (later learned that if you use black ink instead of gray in the previous step it doesn't take as long). The last step is to rub embossing ink with a light hand over the raised area and then use gold embossing powder.
To finish the card i added a die cut greeting.

Beyond the Blue - Interactive

It's time for a new challenge at Beyond the Blue. Our challenge for the next two weeks is to make an interactive project. I am not much into making anything interactive so I used a wobble behind the unicorn and it moves so that's interactive right.

To Make this card I started with a top folding A2 card base and a white panel cut to the same size. I created the rainbow using a stencil. I stamped the unicorn, colored it and cut it out with the coordinating die.
To finish the card I added the unicorn  from Pink & Main (retired) using a wobble and stamped the greeting.

Silhouette

It's time for a new challenge at Addicted to CAS, our hostess is Vicki and she chose the code word...

There are lots of Silhouette stamps out there so I hope you will play along.
To create my card I started with a white top folding card base and a white panel. I stamped the silhouette of butterflies from the Inspire set by Pink & Main in the middle of the panel and then added a rainbow of color, complete with a finger smudge lol. It't handmade not mass produced right? The greeting is from the Grateful Greetings set also by Pink & Main.

Snowflake

We are back for the new year at Addicted to CAS and our first code word is snowflake. I love all things snow but I am done with snow for the year even though I know there will be more because winter just started.

To create this card was really simple, I started with a white top folding card base and a white panel cut dow a quarter of an inch smaller. I used a snowflake stencil by A colorful Life designs,  some Gina K ink and the Life Changing blender brushes by Picket Fence Stamps and there you have it, to finish the card I added a greeting by Pink & Main from their Flurries set

25 Days of Christas Inspiration- Day 15

Welcome to day 15 of my series 25 Days of Christmas Inspiration. As you may have noticed, I kinda took a few days off. Not by choice we had a horrible winter storm here and I didn't have any service before, during and after until today.

Today's card is for the last challenge of the year at AAA Cards, which is three. it can be three of anything you wish. I chose snowflakes but let me tell ya, there were way more than three fall in my little mountain town. We lost power for two days and had no service for four. I was about to go stir crazy.

To create my card I started with a white top folding white card base and a white panel cut down a quart of an inch smaller. the stamp set I used is a gorgeous set by Pink & Main, Flurries.  I stamped out three of them using Gina K ink and added some Nuvo crystal drop to finish the card.
