Christmas In July - Day 22

Todays theme for the Christmas In July Instagram hop is Ornaments. I have had to make my cards in advance and it was a hard call as which one I wanted to use today and tomorrow. Come back tomorrow and you will see what I mean.
This card was so fun to make. I started with a white top folding A2 card base and a white piece of cardstock for the image. I stamped the ornament, colored it using OLO markers and then cut it out with the coordinating die. I went back with a gold metallic pen and added a gold dot to each intersection, and the top. I stamped the sentiment with VersaMark ink and embossed it with gold powder to match the gold dots.

Christmas in July - Day 21

Today starts a new challenge at Addicted to CAS & More and it's our Christmas challenge and it's also day 21 of the Christmas in July hop over on Instagram. The theme for today is Peppermint Party.  I chose to use blue for my candy canes but they are still peppermint.

To make this card, I started with a white top folding card base and a white panel cut down with an arched die. I cut out the candy canes and then used a stencil to color them.  to finish the card I added the holly and the joy word die.

Team Tuesday with Hero Arts

I am up on the My Sweet Petunia blog today sharing this card using the July My Monthly Hero Kit.

To make this card, I started with a white top-folding A2 card base and a white panel. I used the panel to cut out the Citrus Frame Die. While this set includes dies to cut everything out, I love to color, so I placed the die-cut frame on a mini sticky mat to hold it in place. I then placed the sticky mat on the Petunia Platform and added a Power Mag so I could easily rotate the platform as I colored.

After I got it all colored I added it to the card base and stamped my greeting in the center using the Mini Misti. To finish the card I added die cut flowers over the flowers on the frame and I added some texture to the lemons with a gold metallic marker.
