Game 289 - A color Challenge

Today starts a new game at AAA Cards and we have a color challenge for you. When I saw these colors I thought floral but wanted to do something a little different so I pulled out this set that I got from the Altenew in person retreat I went to in Syracuse and recreated a card that we made while I was there.

To make this card, I started with a white top folding white A2 card base and a white panel.  I stamped the candy dish on a seperate piece of white cardstock, colored it with the coordinating stencils and then fussy cut it out. For the macrons I used a die set along with stencils and to finish the card, I added a greeting from the same set.

Opposites Attract

I am back with another card for our current challenge of Opposites Attract at A Blog Named Hero. You have until the end of the month to play along with us for a chance to win a $50 gift card to the Hero Arts shop.
To do that all you have to do is create your project using opposites and at least one product from hero Arts then upload it to the blog.
For the opposites theme, I used large and small and two colors opposite of each other on the color wheel.

To make my card, I started with a white top folding A2 card base and a white panel. I stamped the Party fans on a seperate piece of cardstock, cut them out with the coordinating die and added them to the front of the card. I stamped the sentiment and then cut one of the party fans in half and attached to each side of the greeting.

Yellow

Today starts a new challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More

My friend Alyssa has been challenging herself to use yellow because she never does. I never do wither so I am doing the same, trying to use yellow more.
To make this card, I started with a white top folding A2 card base and a white panel. I stamped one of the florals from the Beautiful Inside set along the outer edge to create a border. To finish the card, I added a sentiment from the Faith stamp set.

Star

Today starts a new challenge at Addicted to CAS, Nancy is our hostess and she chose code word...

I happen to think this was an excellent choice and came at the right time because I needed to make a card for a veteran who is going on a honor flight this weekend. So this is the card I made for him.
I started with a white top folding card base and a white panel. I used a star die by Erin Lee Creative and cut it out of Gold, Silver, and Navy. I kept the gold outline then pieced back in three gold, three silver and one navy star.
To finish the card, I added the Hero sentiment on the outside and thank you for your service on the inside.

He Is Risen

Easter is this coming Sunday and The Creative Worship Stamps is celebrating by hosting an Instagram hop.
There is a ton of beautiful projects, You should hop over and take a look.

To make my card, I started with a white top folding card base and a white panel cut to 3.5 x 5.  I stamped the tomb from the Hie Is Risen set on a seperate piece of cardstock, colored it with Copic markers and then fussy cut it out.  I stamped the floral image from the God is sovereign set in the middle of the panel and colored it using Copic markers.  I placed the tomb among the flowers because I picture there being flowers around te tomb.

To finish the card I stamped the "He Is" from the God Is Faithful set, then "risen" from the He Is Risen set underneath and colored it using copic markers.

CASE It

Today's card is for another hop over on Instagram. For this hop we are to find a card we are inspired by and CASE it, which means copy and share everything but change it up a little bit to make it your own.

I was inspired by my friends Jen's card, here it is.

I changed it up by using a different color, floral element and sentiment. I used the same sketch and brick embossing folder. I was going to add a little bling like hers but forgot.

You Are Loved

Today's card are for the Sending Sunshine hop over on Instagram. Each month I participate in a hop where we send out encouragement cards. This hop started as a suicide awareness hop and we realized that we need to send out encouragement cards more often and now it is a monthly hop.
I help out with the GriefShare program at my church and these are the cards I made for the participants. Grief is hard and this program helped me and I wanted to help others as well.
The top card was for the men in the program and ti uses a stamp set by Creative Worship Stamps. The bottom card was for the ladies and it uses a magnolia stamp by Pinkfresh Studio and a stencil by Creative Worship Stamps. The greeting on both cards is by Gina K Designs.
