Pull & Reveal Gift Card Holder

When I received this die, I knew that I would be making lots of gift card holders.  It's so fun and easy to make. For the first one I made I watched the video but for this one I didn't have to watch it again, it's that easy.
Also the image on the front is actually the paper from the Delivering Christmas Collection. You can use the dies that coordinate with the stamp set to actually cut the images out of the coordinating papers.  I did add some accents to the paper with OLO markers.

Pull and Reveal Gift card die

Today I am participating in an Insta hop over on Instagram.  The Dare 2B Artzy team is sharing this new product, th Pull & Reveal Gift Card Holder Die just in time for the Christmas season.
This die is super easy and so fun to use.  Unfortunately I do not have a gift card to put inside as of now so to show where it would go I just wrote on the tag.
The set I used is Special Delivery and I colored it using OLO markers. You can count on seeing more of these befoe the season ends.

Stay Crafty With Hero Arts - December Edition

Upload you project to the Hero Arts blog by the end of the month.

To make this card, I started with a white top folding  A2 card base and a white panel cut to the same size. I used the Varying Butterfly Wings Fancy Die. I cut one out of white and ink blended color over it and then cut one out of gold foil.  For the background , I created a stencil by using two sizes of the Arches Infinity Dies and then ink blended in the space. I added a butterfly body from the Special Day Butterfly set, colored it and then added the wings.
To finish the card, I added a sentiment from that same stamp set.

Reindeer Interlock Card

Today's card is the first interlocking card that I have made. I used one of Cindy's tutorials over at Dare 2B Artzy.

To make this card, I started with a white A2 card base cut 8 1/2 X 5 1/2. I cut two pieces  2 X 5 3/8 and one 4 1/8 x 5 3/8. I scored the base at 2 1//8 from both sides and attached the red patterned paper strips to those side panels. I added the lights patterned paper on the inside. I cut an oval frame by using two of the nesting oval dies and then cut a circle to attach the reindeer.
I put it al together by adding glue only to one side of the oval and the circle.

AAA Cards - Game 304 - A Sketch

Today starts a new challenge and t's a sketch.  We all know I love a good sketch. I hope you will play along.

To make this card, I started with a white top folding A2 card base, a white panel and some left over trees from an earlier card making session.
I ran the panel through the die cutting machine using a snowflake cover plate from Waffle Flower and cut it down to 3.5 x 5. I stamped the sentiment directly on the panel and added the trees which are leftovers from a previous project which uses the Tree Pattern cover plate by Hero Arts and distress inks.

Color Cube Inspiration

Today's card is for a new hop that I am participating in over on instagram. It's the Cube abd Create hop where a group of us crafty friends are using Sarah Renae Clark's color cube combos are inspiration for our card. Each month two cards will be drawn, we can use one or the other or both.
The one I chose was No. 127 pictured below.

To make this card, I started with a white top folding A2 card base and a white panel. The products I used are from one of my favorite companies, Concord & 9th.
I used the Cara Medallion stencil pack, the Elegant Holiday Greetings and the Gift Bow Dies.
I thought that I matched the colors pretty well. The inks I used for the colors are Pimento, Clementine and Avocado by C9 and Sherbet and Cadette by Simon Says Stamp.
