All About The Shoes

Happy Halloween!
Today's card is brught to you by Dare 2B Artzy, I not only love the shoe but I also love the sentiment, because it is all about the shoes right?

To make this card I started with a top folding white card base and a white panel.
I created a background using a stencil and stamped, colored and cut out the shoe and placed it in the corner. I stamped the sentiment directly on the panel.

A Spooky Day

I am up on the Picket Fence Studios blog today sharing this card.

Can you believe that it is almost October? How did that happen when it was March was 3365 days alone. This has been the longest year but also time has flown by, only in 2020.

With October comes Halloween which I love, but who know how it is going to be this year right? Anyhow I love making cute halloween cards and when we got the Coordinating dies to match A Spooky Day I was excited to make this card.

I started with a top folding white card base, a black panel, a purple pane and another piece of white cardstock to stamp the image. I stamped the haunted house image from A Spooky Day and colored it using Copic markers. I created the background by using a mask for the moon and distress inks in Soot, Wilted Violet, Carved Pumpkin and Crackling Campfire.

After I got the images all colored, I cut them out with the A Spooky Day coordinating dies and created a scene. I was going to add a greeting to the front but then decided to add it on the inside.

If the Hat Fits

Today starts my mini series of Halloween inspiration. I am going to be sharing some halloween cards throughout the next couple weeks in between my normal design team posts and sometimes I will be able to combine them like today.
Today is also a new challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More and it's time for team B to sharetheir colored projects and challenge you to do the same. It can be markers, colored pencils, watercolors any time of coloring medium you wish.

To create my card I started with a top folding white card base, a white layering panel and a panel of Black Onyx for the mat.
I stamped one of the hat images from the If the Hat Fits set by Simon Says Stamp using Blackout detail ink by Ink on 3 and colored it using Copic markers.
It's hard to tell but I stamped the stars with my favorite embossing ink and embossed them in Gold Rush powder. I also added some Liquid Pixie Dust to the ribbon on the hat.

Release Day at Picket Fence Studios

It's Release day at Picket Fence Studios and once again, yup you guessed it, it's a Fabulous or should I say Fa "Boo" lous release.
This release is has lots of fun stamps for Halloween, Fall, foiling dies, and there are more amazing stencils.
I used to love decorating the house for halloween and seeing the kids all dressed up in their costumes I would even dress our dog up and walk around the neighborhood, but where we live now there are no neighbors, so no kids and no decorations.
I do love making halloween cards even though I really don't send them out they are fun to make. So I have three for you today.

The first card uses the If You Got It, Haunt It and it's my favorite! I love the style of this stamp, It can be used with so many other stamps or alone with a stencil. I paired it up with the Autumn Countyside and then added in some bats from an older set Wicked Together. The background was created using the new Electrio Pop inks by Gina K, yall these inks are so intense! I used Potent Purple, Orange glow and Loud Lime.

The second card uses the Witch,Please set How cute is that witch!? This set also has some fairy frogs in it too, a must have.
I used one of our new stencils which I sneak peeked last week on my blog post, it's called Layers of Clouds and it's amazing, one of my favorites because you also get the negative clouds with it. On this card I used the negative stencil and some soft stone ink with the Life Changing Blending Brushes

The last card uses a super adorable set, Trick or Treaters. I paired this one up with the Window Sunshine Stencil, and used the Poppin Pink Electrio Pop ink by Gina K Designs and the Life Changing Blending Brushes. I stamped the little trick or treaters using our Black Hybrid ink and colored them using Copic markers and cut them out with the Trick or Treaters die and popped them up using foam tape. The greeting is from the Wicked Together set.

I will have more from this release over the course of this week so be sure to check back.

ATCAS- One Layer

It's time for a new challenge at Addicted to CAS, this week, our host is Barb and she has chosen one layer as our code word

Remember we define one layer as a card base folded in half no additional layers

To create my card I started with a white top folding card base, a stencil by My Favorite Things and a stamp set by Picket Fence Studios.
I could not find my spiderweb stencil so I chose the next beat one Concentric Circle by MFT. I used Hickory Smoke distress oxide ink along with it. Next I stamped the spider from the If The Broom Fits set by Picket Fence Studios and then drew his web line a little longer. To finish the card I added a red dot to the spider making it a black widow and added the greeting from the same set, If the Broom Fits

I am also entering this card in the scary challenge at CASology

Happy Halloween

I spent the last two days doing a card making marathon for the Fallidays Fest at Splitcoaststampers. I had made a few cards for the challenges here and there but Saturday I decided that I wanted to do a card for each challenge plus an addition 7 to be a Yeti.  Let's just say that I have discovered I have lots more mojo when I am crunched.
This card was for a color challenge o make Yeti status of Blackberry Bliss, Tangelo Twist and Daffodil Delight with an option of Halloween.
Used the above colors mentioned and blended them together and then added the bare tree from the Seltering Tree set by Stampin Up. the bird and the Happy Halloween are from a retired SU set.

Odd

My card share today features this cute set "If the Hat Fits" by Simon Says Stamp. I just love those witches hats and it has some cute greetings to go along with it.
To make my card I started with a white top folding note card and added some wonky stitching around it with the Silly Stitched dies by Lil' Inker Designs.
I masked off the hats one by one so they would be stacked on top of each other and then colored them with Chameleon pens. I created a background around them using Copic markers  (pointillism technique) and the star stamps from the set.
I am entering this card in the challenge at

and
for Bev's Falliday challenge at Splitcoaststampers
